I don't like the combat system much, but I'm still learning how to use it. It seems like I have characters standing around doing nothing a lot unless I micromanage them.
Constant pausing and giving orders is sort of a pain in Dragon's Age. For some reason this was more fun in Balder's Gate.
Dragon Age: Visually very good. Game play mediocre-good.
So, I've been seeing a lot of talk on here about D2 mods...
How does one come to get said mods?
That sure as hell would help me kill time while waiting for D3
It is important to get information on the mod before you start to install. The most important information is what version of D2 it runs on. Most mods are designed for version 1.10. The other common one is 1.09 for the older mods or the ones that decided it was better to stay at 1.09.
You can get some of the information here on some of the mods at Diablo Wiki Take note that Zy-El will be making its new home there shortly.
There are quite a few different types of mods out there. Some are minor tweeks for the single player. Some are massive changes to the game. Quite often they will have screenshots of the mod and they may even of a youtube video for you to look at.
If any questions message me and I will be more than happy to answer your questions

Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.

Much thanks. I'll take a look and see what catches my interest.
BAD COMPANY???!?!?!?! THAT GAME LOOKS EPIC! im 90% sure its on pc also. all my friends are getting the beta right now so im thinking about that. its an fps that is pretty damn realistic. all my friends are die hard mw2 and they are all switching over. quite funny.
some other games are HoN (Dota), Savage 2 (3rd person mele), dragon age (heard talk about an expansion :O), comand and conquer tiberiam 4 is coming out in a month or so. there are games
Modern Warfare 2 seems good. One of the kids I tutor has been playing it like crazy since it came out. The system of unlocking perks, weapon attachments, and ranks seems to keep the multiplayer interesting. I only played one match online, but it seemed good(although not $60 good)
The leveling does get faster and it is not uncommon to get a few thousand levels in a few hours if the character is built well. The long time is building the character.
Likely a new PC will not improve the load time or not by much.

I've been playing it a lot lately. The Special-Ops missions are fun if you pair up with a buddy. The standard online stuff is fun too. My wife has been playing Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age Origins. She has great things to say about both.
I dont really know much about this game. But is Borderlands: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx a fun game? It's going only for 9.99 on steam and im thinking of getting it, but im not sure if its gonna be fun. Anyone have played this game before?

Well I don't know much about it, but it is DLC for borderlands, so unless you have the regular game, you wont be able to play it.

Oh okay thanks. So, its some kind of an expension for borderlands.
When i first saw it on steam for 9.99 i was like, WOW! this is way cheaper then the original borderlands game that costs like 50bucks and im gonna get it for sure. But now i know what it actually is..
Anyways thanks again

If you want something cheap and fun, take a look at Trine. Try a demo to make sure your PC can handle it, should be fine. It's a short game but it's really, really fun.

Thanks for the suggestion man. Ive tried this game before and its fun actually.
But the 20 dollar price tag..
Maybe if it goes sale or something i might get it
Yeah, once it's cheaper I'd get it. It was actually a lot of fun. Simple but fun. I went and blew $20 on PSN for it, and I enjoyed it, but it's short. Still, yeah, wait til it's cheaper
(its actually fun, but quite heavy on the cut-scenes)
