I am imagining the triune is responsible considering they are the ones who grab the human that fell in the star from the heavens. Skeleton king tells you that after you beat him.
Oh? I hadn't heard that, does that happen in the beta?

Leah serves as an anchor for diablo in sanctuary. Didn't they say at blizzcon that adria is already dead and we would find how in d3 .

If I'm understanding you correctly, and this is genuine data - the the "human" in the star/meteor is more likely to be Tyrael. If he is indeed disguised as a human, which may be - since he got that "human-avatar" picture that has been found.
"Q: Is Adria dead?
A: Yes, you will find out how in Diablo III"
II. The black soulstone cinematic is the intro cinematic when the game starts, so it takes place while Deckard is still missing and before any of the game has occurred.
III. Still not absolutely sold that the fallen star is Tyrael. There are a lot of things that point that way, but I haven't yet found anything I could describe as confirmation.
IV. The part about the triune grabbing the human who was in the meteor doesn't happen in the beta, as the skeleton king doesn't talk after you beat him the beta just ends. It was datamined from the initial beta client along with the different convos for barbs, but has been removed in the updates.
Incidentally, this same character apparently appears later in game, and he wears golden armor, and is named Tyrael. Food for thought.
There is no NPC named Tyrael in the data files right now he's only referred to as Bridle. And portraits are not named. I'm gonna upload the portrait files and show everyone how they look. So many people think they're named. They aren't. Fansites slap names on them as guesses.
Seems very possible. That is assuming he is in the pit though. As you can see we free him from "Cells of the Condemned" it seems like at some point. So finding him in the crater wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. Who knows.
Hmm yeah, after looking up the stranger, seems more likely to be him.
As we have at least two portraits of him, seems we will encounter him several times. So freeing him later on doesn't need to conflict with meeting him earlier.
I've been just checking out the Boss Artworks and i was wondering where are thousand pounder and the siegebreaker beast from the 2008 barbarian and wd gameplay. Are they not bosses in the final version?

Neither were planned to be bosses. I bet they're still around.

Well see one of the things that has me so excited about D3 is the number of awesome encounters, and while the boss list is pretty damn big, you gotta think that doesn't include all the mini mini bosses (seigebreaker, thousand pounder) Jondar or however you spell his name isn't on the list, but he's a mini mini lol. So we can expect a LOT of encounters, which is effin sweet.

@atsokue: Demons don't need hosts. We see in The Sin War Lilith runs around without a host, lots of demons do.
Yeah,i forgot that ,but prime evils needed host cause they were inside of soulsones, but when stones are destroyed who knows what is going to happen now...
Actually Diablo came to Sanctuary during the Sin War without a vessel or soulstone. The whole reason for the soulstones was to capture the prime evils because they had no vessel.

Yep but his body has been destroyed and then his spirit was trapped inside soulstone,so after that event he always needed some host,i dont know how ca we expect to see diablo in his true physical form when his form is gone long ago? I still belive he need host , like he needed in Diablo 1 and dialbo 2....we destroyed soulstone in d2 but somehow his spirit has survived , or sent to black abys or where ever, now if he came back he will still need host again,or maybe some part of his spirit lives in Leah. correct me if im wrong

Sadly to say, Diablo has no true form anymore. He is a symbios of pure evil now. And I think that is for the best, if our imagination could think of Diablo we always think of the most nightmarish creature of all time. Doing so, Diablo will always be king over the darker and grim side of the universe.
Another theory: Imperius are taking Diablo out of the Abyss, since we, the heroes are running on the edges of The Abyss before the final showdown. Imperius are "evil", but we will not engage him in combat.
Somehow I either missed this or didn't understand it all at the time. Everything makes perfect sense now, though I'm not sure about the specifics as to how we go from point b to point c but, meh.
I don't think Cain has anything to do with Leah being possessed. People have become corrupt before without much interference, like Leoric, Leah's grandfather. I think she either puts the soulstone in herself, or someone else does.
Seems like a nice spot for the black soulstone to fit on her chest. Not sure she stays possessed though, maybe someone steals the stone afterwards and she's just undead or something.
Just looked at the Top 10 most anticipated game Video on the Frontpage... and i noticed something quite revealing on the video when we see Leah at the end just after we see diablo Screaming.

No, not unless they redesigned him almost completely. His model his here.
As we have at least two portraits of him, seems we will encounter him several times. So freeing him later on doesn't need to conflict with meeting him earlier.
