Well now that i have finished all of the d2 books i notice that Hell isnt some mysterious place where evil comes from anymore. Becuase evil comes from the heavens as well. But it is because i understand it now. And i think the saying that- you only fear what you do not understand, comes into play here. Before hell seemed very mysterious and i did not really know about it. But now i know everything including their plan. Which really doesnt make hell a very scary place anymore. Which sort of ruins the mood i get when playing d2... Because i can put 'scientific' reasoning to why demons are on Sanctuary now and why they want it... Again another reason why i hate the books and the story they told. The true canon is that in the actual D2 games imo... Hell was a much more horrifying place when i thought that their intention was not to rule Sanctuary but just cause fear and pain for no reason. But giving them a very human trait and making them want to take over Sanctuary so as to rule it just seems stupid.
meh, idk i just think that when we know their intentions it becomes less scary. And i dont like that all humans have the power to be more powerful than all the demons and angels. I like the one in a million champion type scenario lol. I honestly dont even know what im saying, i just feel bitter towards the Diablo books atm
blah that in itself ist stupid i think.... demons and angels banging each other... WTF?! thats like the most fucked up thing i have ever heard lol like actually... i know that it was mentioned multiple times in the book but i dont remember it being ever mentioned in the games. Another reason why i hate the books
and Uldyssian wasnt really 1 in a million because Lilith started him off on his powers. and then serenthia is almost as powerful.
Lol... I just got an image of a demon screwing an angel doggy style... o.O
Also, it's not so much that its hell that is scary but that if either side ruled it would be devastating to Sanctuary. It seems to me that Hell is stronger then Heaven in the games so we have to fight Hell a hell of alot more, pardon the pun. Personally I'd like to fight heaven in the third installment of the game. Like say the balance is shifted so Heaven is stronger so our heros start fighting against Heaven.
Well, Heaven and Hell made a pact to let humans do what they would in Sanctuary. Tyrael only intervened because he's on our side more than he is on heaven's in my opinion. I think that now that all Hell's broken loose, pardon the pun, heaven will be alot more active in Sanctuary.
lolll, Num3n, you keep thinking of all these different reasons for why the books are so bad. Its such a shame that they ruined it for you. I feel like I should apologise, even though I have nothing to apologise for.

So what if it wasn't mentioned in the games? Of course it wasn't, nobody who is alive knows that.

Yeah, you tell Serenthia to try and destroy the whole world with her mind, we'll see if she succeeds

World of Warcraft - Finnegin- Level 80 Enhancement Shaman
I would still argue that it is ones deeds that determine their "good" or "evil"
I haven't read the books, but the angels don't seem to go around corrupting and possessing humans, or defiling all of sanctuary.
I will probably play my character on the side of heaven, unless they outright mandate that you have to fight heaven. Not relegiously based decision, I am just a lawful/order kind of guy and Tyrael is by far the coolest character to appear in a game yet:)

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]"Fool! You have just ensured the doom of this world. You cannot even begin to imagine what you've set in motion this day. Go to the Temple of Light, in the eastern ciry of Kurast. There you will find the gate to Hell opened before you. You must find the courage to step through that gate Marius. Take the stone you hold to the Hellforge, where it will be destroyed. Now run! Take the stone and run!"

It doesn't work well with four syllables.
Fill in the blank with a two syllable word:
THIS IS _________ !
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
