While I love how RealID works, I am glad that they decided against using actual names.
I look forward to the day when you can have a three way chat, one person fighting Diablo, one person fighting the Sarah Kerrigan, and one person fighting Deathwing. <3 -

If it wasn't for that, I'd not have one.
Though, honestly, they have tried the whole mouse/keyboard thing for consoles multiple times. SNes Mouse, PS2 Keyboard, they just don't become popular. :/ -
Dec 20, 2009LinkX posted a message on Cheer up console fans, your day may come.Hmm, Honestly I could see Diablo on the consoles if it was turned into a behind-the-character, Zelda-type game. I just honestly can't see Blizzard doing an RTS or Isometric RPG on a console, not after D1 and SC64.Posted in: News
Hmm....Diablo: Origins... When Diablo, Baal, and Mephisto were first kicked out of Hell... Hehehe... I'd enjoy that... -
Dec 20, 2009LinkX posted a message on Cheer up console fans, your day may come.Well, sony just isn't good so forget that. o.OPosted in: News
As for Nintendo(R) vs Microsoft(R), Nintendo(R) has the capability to go online and log into Battle.net, allowing players to play with other people who may be on a Wii or a PC. Microsoft(R) has there own Microsoft(R) Live(R) network. I'm not entirely sure if you can access the Internet Proper via the Xbox 360, but I don't believe you can.
Personally, I see the family playing Wii Bowling during the day, then in the evening when the little kiddies are off to bed, Daddy can go and slay Diablo on the very same console. It would A) give Nintendo(R) the Mature view it needs andgive Blizzard(R) many more sales, especially to those who don't play computer games or even own a computer.
Personally, it just makes sense to me. :/
Quote from "Seth" »@ some of the above: as far as I understand it, this is not about Diablo III being on a console.
:/ That was what my original post was saying. None of the current franchises really would work with normal console controllers. -
Dec 20, 2009LinkX posted a message on Cheer up console fans, your day may come.Frankly, after playing Command and Conquer 3 on the 360, I don't see Warcraft RTS, Starcraft RTS, or Diablo RPG on the consoles. Now perhaps something similar to Zelda for Warcraft/Diablo or something like Doom 3 for Starcraft might work, but with the current top-down RTS/RPG games, it just won't work.Posted in: News
Maybe a new I.P.?

Dec 18, 2009LinkX posted a message on Day, night, and variation!Posted in: NewsQuote from "scyberdragon" »Yeah, I never noticed any day cycle in D2 either. The occasional rain and snow but that is it.
Can anyone post any pictures showing the difference in night and day in D2?
Again, its not like we ever see the sky in Diablo so how can people see this as such a big deal. Do they really want their shadows to go from 2 o'clock to 6 o'clock to get a sense of real time in a video game.
I'm not arguing for the Day Night deal, I'm just arguing that it isn't something new and that it was part of D2. It's not a deal breaker, and it's not a huge issue, but it was in D2, so there is precedence.
Quote from "Humungous" »So let Blizzard work on making other stuff good, guys. We don't need every thing that we've seen somewhere else here as well.
Elsewhere, referring to Diablo 2?
Quote from "maka" »the wii is crap, it's a complete gimmick and it's mostly owned by people who don't really like video games per se, but go for the wii because it's different. but it's still a complete gimmick, and most games in it bore you by the 3rd day. please don't associate D3 with the wii in any way, shape or form.
Lol. That's just silly. It's like saying Windows XP was a gimmick. :/
Plus it has nothing to do with the topic, so, stay on topic. Kthx. -
Dec 17, 2009LinkX posted a message on Day, night, and variation! You change the gama and shift a few hues and bang, night. Shift the hues and change the gama and bang, day again. It's really not going to be that difficult, nor is it going to interfere with any graphical abilities the game had.Posted in: News
That is, unless D2's day/night cycle affected your computer, in which you may want to upgrade. -
Dec 17, 2009LinkX posted a message on Day, night, and variation! But it gave another piece of the realism. If your going to say what you said, why not take out the fires? Why not take out those houses? Or the rocks? Or the chests? After the first time through the game, nobody really notices them anyway.Posted in: News
Why don't we just forget all of it, make everyone level 99 with top of the line gear, and tell them to tppk each other?
Because then you loose the game. Every piece of D2 was needed, from those little rats that ran around in the A2 tombs to the huge battle with Diablo. And D3 isn't going to be any less. -
Dec 16, 2009LinkX posted a message on Day, night, and variation!Might I remind people that D2 had day and night rotations, along with the occasional rain?Posted in: News

So yea, cost of that wasn't too terribly important. I was talking more along the lines of making games with it.
Hah, such fond memories. <3
I miss Aeon of Strife... :-(

That still doesn't explain where he is coming from. Nobody was talking about raising or lowering prices, I was specifically talking about the long waits and being punched.

What the hell are you talking about?
I think your first sentence is two sentences with the end of one and the beginning of another cut off...
Care to take a breath and try re-typing that in the English language? Preferably the American dialect, as opposed to the British dialect. Though, either would be better then what you wrote here...
Edit: Where is Elfen when you need him...

Seriously, why do people fucking wait in line for hours for a fucking phone? Bossman literally went and got them bottles of water and some chairs they were waiting so long.
Stupid fucking people are stupid.

Somebody tried to punch me. I blocked it, but then they punched me in the gut. They then took the goddamn shit I was "guarding". (Bullshit phrase, I wouldn't of done more then said "Hey, you can't take that. Please don't take that. Please?" if they had taken it anyway.)
So yea, I have problems with Black Friday, and with being forced to work Thanksgiving day because somebody wants a 5000 dollar tv for 10 dollars off. Fuck them. Fuck them all to hell.
0
Also, can somebody explain to me the thought of why Black Friday is so "good"?

Hmm...

And I get to work on Thanksgiving Day because people want to shop on Thanksgiving Day.
I remember a time when people closed shop on Thanksgiving, because getting a 500 inch television for 10 dollars off was somehow less important then the customers and employees both spending time with their family.
Now everybody wants to save that 10 bucks. Because, hey, it's only 2,000 shopping days left until Christmas!

Plus tomorrow is fucking thanksgiving, which has turned into goddamn black friday eve, or black thursday.
Also, hi Dae! :-D

You can also choose how much goes to whom.
For example, I gave 60% to charity and 40% to Humble Bundle, with zero going to WB, because fuck WB. Lol... That being said, when a company goes into Humble Bundle, they know they won't make too much money, and there is a chance that they won't make any. That being said, it's damn good PR for them, and they know it. Companies like WB, EA, Google, etc, can all afford to do that.
You can also build your house with a hole in the bottom leading to the floor of the ocean then dig a hole to to hell and drain the house.
Or use a water pump.
I do like the idea of a secondary, under water house though. Make a transporter room in the castle just for it. Hmm...

The minimum to get Scribblenauts and Arkham Asylum right now is $4.53, but that goes up as the average amount paid goes up. Go now, get awesome games, and help awesome charities!
NAO!
