o, we'll know. we will find out eventually, whether its in diablo 3-? we will find out who is ultimately behind the stage pulling the strings to the puppets.
Look at him. He tells you what to do - sign of a born leader.
All these quests continually destroy demons and put you in danger - could cause a stirring in Hell.
Also, could all the tasks that Cain gives us really be some hidden agenda!?!?!

that's actually pretty realistic in the world of fantasy epics....Cain is using us as a weapon against the leaders of hell until there is nobody left in hell that can stand up to him...he feeds off of us as the warriors' power until he is strong enough to destroy us or somethin weird like that. maybe he even has tyrael along with him? :-O
Tyreal...just something about that pansy that he couldn't beat Duriel to escape i mean come on he is a freakin angel. Thats why i think he is evi cause truelly he could have escaped from there i he wanted to think about it. (he made padimounum and you think he can't blast through a few layers of rock?)

Cain is the last of the Horadrim Mages. They were the ones whom kept guard of the soul stones and sworn an oath to prevent evil from spilling in to mans realm.

pepin, Adria, Gillian Odgen, Farnham, Lester the Nut are unaccounted for.
Griswold cursed, wirt dead, Cain in the cage.
i say the others are unaccounted for as wirts corpse is labeled, no other body in tristram is.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
i voted for tyrael because it seemed like the best choice, i almost went for cain or wirt for laughs but i decided not to..
at this point it's hard to tell who is behind the evil because we still have Azmodan and Belial fighting their war in hell, the bretheren of other powerful demons such as lilith and inarius. i would also just quickly like to know who Rathma is? i know the necromancers worship him but idk if hes a demon or what?
and finally, the prime evils seem to be good at manipulating everyone to do their bidding so maybe what's happend is what they wanted?

Good to see we have so much constructive storyline going on here...
Now, I'm not the god of blizzard or anything, but I do have alot of knowledge, and lemme begin by saying...
Blizzard jokes around alot and includes alot of secret stuff. WIRT'S leg is a freggin inside joke at blizzard now, so they put it into Warcraft 3.
It has NOTHING to do with Diablo being apart of the Warcraft universe, or whatever. It was just a little inside joke for people who have played past games. Guess what? In world of warcraft, you can get Wirt's Third Leg.
That being said, the diablo world is completely seperate from Warcraft, it has nothing to do with the Warcraft universe, and no demons in Warcraft ever required a soulstone or anything like that.
Nextly, as of the Tyrael and Cain debate...
Tyrael is an Arch-Angel. Tyrael was the one who bound Baal to Tal-Rasha, Tyrael is the one who destroyed the Worldstone to stop demons from flowing in TOO quickly.
Tyrael is definitley not a bad guy. And if blizzard did somehow make him the root of things, thatd be an incredibly gay and expected plot twist and would just ruin everything. I would no longer trust anyone in any of the games seeing as "They could be the root of all evil, why am I doing quests for this person." Or I could constantly ask the question "I bet Drognan is just leading me on... He's really probably just Diablo in disguise."
Tyrael is pure and holy, we've seen whats happened to the fallen angels, like Izual, even though corrupted, he still tried to help in the end when the hero killed his demonic form.
As for Deckard Cain having something to do with it all... Hes part of the horadrim. The freggin' humans that allied with angels to hunt demons. There is no way hes corrupted, and if he is, hes much too old and weak to do anything, and on top of that, if hes corrupted and a big evil, why was he imprisoned at Tristram? Because he was one of the ancient demon hunters, and im sure they had further plans for him before the hero showed up.
Now, I'm not saying it couldnt be Tyrael or Cain... But what I am saying is thatd be incredibly predictable and tasteless of blizzard to do.
"Hey guys, you know Akara? And Adria? Well they are really both super powerful witches and they werent selling you health potions, they were selling you corrupt potions and now in Diablo 3, the hero from diablo 1 who you thought you killed in Diablo 2 shows up with the corrupted hero from Diablo 2 and they fight you!"
BTW, has anyone here actually read any of the novels? I own all 5 of them and I'm currently in the middle of Moon Of The Spider.
You might want to read those, they help alot on Diablo lore and tell alot about the world.

you might want to untighten your ass a bit. if you havent noticed, we are all joking. so much for the insight you claim to have. go and read your books. i might not have the books, but i certainly dont need some punk like you telling me what i already know.
When you see a poll option of Diablo's Mom you would think off of common knowledge that this poll is just a "fun...something to do" type poll. For someone to have alot of "knowledge" of Diablo lore but showing no signs of common knowledge, than I believe that no intellect is shown at all. lol

some people just got to relax and stop getting all exciting about something that is clearly a joke. most of the stuff on here is for fun, there is little news, and we enjoy speculating on the little clues we get, as well as have fun about other stuff.
Yeah, my bad...
Sorry, I misjudged everyones intelligence, but I had no reason not to believe you guys were serious, you showed absolutely NO signs of not being serious.
But dont take what I said to offense, it wasnt insulting anyone, other than the guy who kept spamming about the burning legion.

yea its all rubbish
but why are we speculating when we will find out anyways?
Yes hi its my first post here and i dissagree with the Tyreal being evil lord thing....
remember when you did act 4 first mission to find the angel that was banished from heaven i personally think it was him cuz i mean he was in heaven and he was sent to hell for a reason......
Ya know I doubt its Cain... he can barely walk! If he walked for long enough he'd trip over his cain... and for Diablo's mom. Well.... there has been no mention of Diablo's mom... probably died giving birth to him. I'm going for (I choose Diablo's mom cause I was bored like the rest of you hopefully... and yes I know it's up there as a joke) wirt.
