I must say, I thought this was bar-none the greatest cinematic end to a video game yet. A great event, a powerful angel and epic music, all intertwined perfectly. Will Diablo 3 have an ending that lives up to this? I sincerely hope they put at least as much effort into its ending as they did with D2's ending. However, I find that they have their work cut out for them on this! To even match Destruction's End in awesomeness would be an impressive feat, to surpass it? Nigh impossible, really.
Perhaps I'm the only one that thinks this way.

D2's ending was nice, but left you full of questions, what will happen to the world, what did the worldstone actually do, what will happen to Tyreal, with the three brothers soul stones destroyed how will they manifest themselves next time around, lots and lots of questions that still haven't been answered
I don't think were going to have to worry much at all about the ending of D3, am sure it will throw up a million and one new questions and leave everyone waiting for the next Diablo installment.

Of course they'll have badass cinematics that will be even more badass then D2. I have no doubt they'll put major effort into that, simply because Blizzard is interested in giving a very in depth experience. If you think they did a great job with D2, imagine what they'll do with D3.
Meh... I've seen many better cinematics than Destruction's End. In my opinion, it's not even a bar-setter. That said, I have no doubt that every cinematic in D3 will topple it.
i dont know about you guys but i feel a difference about these two game cinematics. when i first watched terror's end and destruction's end i simply said "OMG". however, watching the D3 trailer actually gave me chills. after the girl says "for i have seen what the darkness hides" and we see the hordes pouring out of hell and the music picks up i am in total awe. so while the cinematics in d2 are simply amazing, i personally feel that blizz should have no worries about topping d2 cinematics....cause in my mind they already have. and this was only a teaser trailer, imagine what the actual game cinematics will be like. my 2 cents.

thats how you make money my main man.
I don't think it could have been orchestrated any better.
It's time to welcome the other 80% of the color wheel to a Diablo game.

However, the final cimematic for D2 is friggin awesome.
"You haven't failed old man... you've done exactly as you were meant to do. However... I am not the Archangel Tyrael."
That was the biggest OMG moment ever.
I hope they pull a twist as awesome as that in the final D3 cinematic.
it was executed with Hollywood magic! and i would expect no worse for all of d3s cinematics, which i am hoping for plenty of.
