While there may be purists amongst the crowd, I personally feel that once I finish a level (normal, hell) that it would be much more fun going back and playing those levels with characters WITHOUT having to re-discover the whole map.
Clearly there has to be a lot of other people who agree with this sentiment, otherwise the myriad of 'maphacks' that are available would not exist.
So if you have an opinion on this, which would it be for?
Having the map reviled from the beginning? Maybe having to buy one or exploring it for it to be reviled would be cool. I dont really want to have to do it over and over. btw. u didnt need a poll.
But ehm, no please keep it like it used to be, maphack was so lame, sure it speeds up your runs, but it still feels like cheating (in d2 it was obviously), but even if they made it like this in D3, it would still feel like cheating to me.
No need for poll.... But that would be cool if you could buy maps at your town or something, otherwise you have to explore the whole area... imo dont reveal whole map, and keep it randomized. Act 3 jungle was great.

Yes, buying one is a good idea.
My irritation was always that once I completed say 'nightmare' level and was going through 'hell' level. If I wanted to go back and make a normal game (or nightmare game) just to tool around, or try to find magic items; rediscovering the map for normal, and nightmare is a bit redundant.
I'm sure for the 'pro's' who had access to all the secrets and hacks this was no big deal, but for normal people like me who just play the game for fun, it would be a HUGE perk.
this would only work in single player, and if u want it this way just use a maphack, im sure blizz cant ban u for hacking ur single player guy. if u mean it to work on battlenet, though, no, just no. randomized dungeons people, they will be different every time.
I loved MH for the fact you could find out where the enemies were a lot easier. (like in Cow levels) without having to run around like a chicken with its head chopped off, you could just hop straight into the battle by going in the RIGHT direction. THOUGH, for a first time through the game I would not want something like that. So basically, the map revealed when completing the game would do nothing for me. I'd just play the entire game through each difficulty and enjoy it. Then load up a MH to do everything else with.

Only if it's while playing D3

Dungeons dont have to have a map... The outside world could.
Your sig isn't funny and is wholly innacurate.
