he's about 1/4 to 100 btw (in total xp). So by end of sept he'd definitely be 100. That's over 50 lvl63 legendaries he'd miss grinding lower acts though, more than billion or 2 gold.
What's your calculation on "over 50 lvl63 legendaries" ?
I was really wondering aswell, probably another lost soul that believes in this "every 500 elite kills guaranteed legendary drop" bullcrap, lol.
I guess his 50 is just a rough estimate. But his point stands, if instead of rushing paragon he farmed with full MF he'd get 3x more legendaries (and that's not a rough estimate, that's how MF works).
Don't think he's using bots or cheats. I'm at rank 4 now (Yöö) , i don't have the + 30% exp ring, 42k dps, very very low ehp and i'm playing alone. I wasted day 1 and found my strat mid day 2. That's when i started to "farm" xp. 55 at this time is absolutely possible.
Being at paragon level 4, you have absolutely no idea if it's possible to be at 55 now or not, sorry, but there are WORLDS differences in XP per level required at lvl 4 or 55 ;).

That calculation doesn't add up tbh, he's now already at 165% base MF, now add 20% from follower, and maybe even just 1 or 2 pieces with 20 mf from gear(i'm sure he has that), that makes 225% MF + 75% from NV is 300%, so I am pretty sure he will see a fair amount of legendaries drop in his grinding frenzy.
Afaik there are no endless spawn. After few waves tower stop producing any more mobs
It's way more than "a few." I've waited around for over 5 minutes and the things still keep going... so not sure on this one.
I don't know if they fixed it but those towers used to constantly spawn spiders. You could find an area with two towers right next to eachother, afk there with thorns gear and life on kill and just come back to move around to suck up gold and do that all day.
Not sure how good that would be for exp though. I don't think it would get you to 50 this fast.

Daa, he means that he is ranked #4 at diabloprogress.com

fyi nv stack doen not count to 300 cap
anyway instead of arguing maybe you people will share how to lvl so fast?

takes 417 a3 clears to get 100 plvl right?
that's 8 clear per lvl63 unique, way below average.
I'm getting about 1 per 2 clears with MF and 1 per 4 clears without MF.
Now, the idea is to get as many lvl63 uniques as quickly as possible.
They aren't going to worth shit after a week or 2. Well, the perfectly rolled ones will, but those are rares.
so his barb is 1/4 way to 100, already missed at least 10 uniques (while he was grinding a3, 10 he missed there already probably cost him few hundred mil)

That still doesn't account for RNG, i'm running with 375MF (397 with follower) and in my last 5 or 6 full act 3 clears I haven't got any legendary at all.
And who cares of a bot gets PL100 first? It doesn't effect you and eventually if it is a bot it will get banned.
I do, its like winning the Tour de France while being doped. Nobody will remember the 2nd place winner years later, although he is now officially the winner...

Do you remember who was #1 in the 3rd D2 ladder season? Probably not. Years later no one will remember who was first in pLvls either, unless some website keeps that data recorded for us, of course..... but that's not exactly the same thing as remembering on your own who got the world first Illidan kill 5 years later, now is it?

You're really getting 1 ilvl 63 legendary per 4 clears without MF? So, averaging, what, one legendary (of any ilvl) per clear, or even more, with no MF?
Makes me feel a bit unlucky to only have 3 legendaries of any ilvl after roughly 200 hours of play without MF. Unless there has been an absolutely enormous stealth buff to drop rates.
Ya, I got to lvl20 without using MF (except 1 of the levels and I thought it was way too slow) and got a bunch of new legendaries.
GIven most of them were trash, there was a new set fist that sold for 80m, and a lacuni with resist that sold for 40m. A new Nat piece that's still on AH and a sever, but the sever kinda came late and now they aren't worth much.
so I switched to 225 mf (300 after NV) from level 20 onward, and 2 levels so far (4 clears) I've gotten 2 legendaries, one of them is a decent vile ward and should sell for a bit.
I don't consider myself lucky since I have not gotten any of those high ticket items. One of those worth more than 10 crappy uniques.
It makes me wonder though. If everybody will be using the same thing, then why the hell am I playing this game instead of GW2?

And what would the first one to paragon level 100 win? A Reward for the Biggest Time Waster?
Just look at it from a realistic, down-to-earth point of view...
It's human nature to be competitive. If something can be sorted in a ladder, you can be certain that someone is going to get a kick out of seeing their name on that list. Especially at the top.
So far blizz has proved us otherwise. They are doing nothing, bots run rampage and they are just sitting back, smiling, with their hands on lap counting money from RMAH.

If you don't get 1 per 8 clears with max mf, then you should buy a diff account or quit

And accomplish, lol. Accomplish in life please
Pass on that, thanks.
At least the game is more fun for me now.
