Just give it up, Blizz doesn't care one bit. See John Yang's tweet at Gaby earlier today. It's pointless. Everyone knows botters are rampant and nothing has happened for months. People still play the game and the pros > cons, so there's no reason for Blizzard to 'do the right thing' and waste any time on it. This isn't Blizzard North anymore, it's the next EA. $$
1723h playtime on my seasonal monk. rebirth u filthy scrub
Right click their name ----> view profile, under seasons tab -----> season 5 -----> summary, on the right hand side of the screen you can view how many hours they played under each class for season 5 ONLY
For example, check out clan <SoS> on top of 4s leaderboard (gabynator, smflavin), 300+ hours played, and season 5 only started for 14 days (14 x 24= 336 hours). you do the math, it only come out in one way ...
The reason those top teams don't run into dead ends is the WD scouts ahead. I'm not saying they aren't cheating but that is one of the roles of the WD in groups.
The funny thing is that i saw gabynator profile, and when i got here this topic was on first page.
Well, couldnt expect anything else from him....
hope he get banned AGAIN this season.
Last season ( if im not wrong) there was a topic from quinnn and alkaizer and other players from the community talking about it.
I hope They and more famous players do this again.
I don't know a ton about bottling. But would it be an issue with you all if the people that bot aren't on leaderboards? Or are you saying all botting is the devil?
guess it depends on how you look at it some people love them some leaderboards. I just like killing demons with magics

If there weren't any leaderboards, would there be any reason to bot? couldn't imagine someone botting their way to 1100+ paragon just to be able to say "i cleared GR 86!" with no way of comparing that achievement to anyone else competitively.
Yea... People can have their personal achievements. I like passing my gr levels and don't feel the need to hunt for a spot on the leaderboard I don't think I'm the only one that plays this for reasons other than leaderboard
"HELL NO. Sry blizzard. but blizzard havent bann any1 for botting, problem is, the bots cant be tracked, so they have no proof.."
BS. It is trivial for Blizzard to determine who is botting -- it is their database that underlies the game, so they know who is playing when and how many hours per day they play. it would be simple to start by banning those who play 20+ hours per day...
Is it really a competition when you are awarded nothing? Is there a secret I got top 10 in s5 club that I don't know about?
Instead of worrying about what others are doing, just try to see how high you can go on your limited playtime and see where that gets you or compete against friends and put a wager on it if you really want it to mean something. . I'm not retarded, I just worry about real life things more.
Typical cheat's logic.
If someone is so obsessed with how well they do relative to others that they're willing to cheat to win, well that's just fine.
But if someone points out that these cheating scum are damaging the competitive spirit of the game, then they're a bad person who is too worried about "not real life things".
During prime time hours when the server lags I think about how many resources are being consumed by automated players. If I played hardcore I would care a lot more but since I do not it is merely an inconvenience. Even a single bot contributes to negative server performance which as a result directly effects my game experience.
Here are some statistics directly from the front page of one of the bot makers:
In the last 24h, 2257107 legendary items and 608685 set items have been dropped by your bots
Bot or account sharing, I do hope that they start sorting the leader boards out, because as they stand right now, it's not anywhere near fair play. I can accept that people can play 10-12 hours most per day, but close to 23-24 hours is humanly impossible.
I've too sent a report to Blizzard about this, after spending 20 minutes circumventing their lousy support system so I could attach files to the darn ticket. If people put enough pressure on them, they hopefully will respond to it.

Since you all know who is and isn't botting by just looking at their time played, spend some time looking at the leaderboards and figure out where the botters stop and try to be the next top dog...oh wait, it's not as easy as just looking at time played.
You don't think that there are people that bot that could care less about the leaderboards or winning? Perhaps, they just want to login for the few hours a week that they have, and instead of having to worry about greater rift keys or bounty cache mats, they login so they can run some rifts with their friends without really caring about the oh so high and mighty leaderboards.
People botting affects you how again? If it bothers you that much to the point where you look at their time played, perhaps it's time you spent a few hours and picked up a bot yourself so you can have a chance at the leaderboards. Last I checked, you don't get a thing other than a larger e-peen for getting on them. I'm sure there is something much more important that you could spend time on than worrying about these guys that cheat. Your life is the same whether they do or not.
i will state this as simply as i possibly can, so you and others like you can follow and understand and i promise to keep the big words at minimum:
botters affect me by essentially making it impossible for me to compete at the higher levels of gameplay, even though i have some of the best rolled gear for my class IN THE WORLD, not just in my game region, but the entirety of the D3 game in all regions, but that is now a moot point because gear caps out, so even with my disgustingly good gear i am in no position to compete due to the stupidly high paragon levels people who bot (and generally no lifers in general) have now it makes my effort to compete on solo leaderboards a waste of my time, and group rankings? ha forget it, never happening, so, that's how people who bot affect me, and many 10's of thousands of players like me, in regard to your nonchalant disregard for personal accomplishment with your comment "you don't get anything for high ranking other than epeen", that is extremely rude and factually incorrect.
if we all shared your outlook on things regarding cheating, then bots would be even more prevalent than they already are because your apathetic attitude is disgusting.
I Honestly believe a staple feature of the Diablo franchise is being able to whine about bots on the forums and why they are what's holding *insert battle tag here* back from being able to compete on the leader boards.
Has anyone considered that some accounts may contain more than one player? This especially in the case of those who make money streaming. It wouldn't be hard to find a good player and hire them to play for your while you sleep.
What about more than 1 player is playing the same account? I am pretty sure that a lot of top ranked players are botting but i'm also pretty sure some of them might be sharing their account. 300h+ played time does not mean they are botting.
When I was young , I remember in D2 me and my brother used to share the same account. Maybe some of the top player are legit and are simply sharing their account. What do you think?
The people crying about bots ruining their d3 experience also lump account sharing into the same basket. I can't play as long as streamer a, b, or c and their brother/siste/significant other and I can't catch them on the leaderboards...it's so unfair.

Sadly, you're right. They just don't care anymore. This has been a problem every season and they never do anything. I miss Blizzard North so badly.

Even F2P MMORPG have a way to stop and ban boters! Why can't blizzard do something?
Almost every F2P game uses a "confirm your not a robot" every 1h.
