Address the infinite paragon grind which incentivizes botting
I dont mind changing how paragon works, but this has absolutely nothing to do with botting.
Ironically grinding for paragon is the only time when botter dont bot. Because its simply much more efficient to grind paragon by playing yourself on higher greater rift.
What botter do is using bot is farm keys and grind low greater rift for items in preparation for grinding paragon on higher greater rift themselves.
So while this might be a good idea for other reasons, it willl have, imo, zero effect on stopping people from botting.
You must point your energy twisters towards edges. If you aim at the right angle and stand close to the edge itself you will have no difficulty casting the ETs properly. They will be stuck at the edge and the support classes you are playing with will have to pull the mobs towards the edge you are casting.
when i cast against wall, twister still move away and doesnt stay in the same place, can you be a little more specific, thanks a lot
1. first thing i would do for season wizard is to get your season starter set. although firebird is buggy right now, it should be good enough for t6.
2. farm t6 until you get your tal-rasha set (shards, drops, and cube) which, imo, is stronger and more reliable than firebird. check the build section, there are a few different tal-rasha build (Wand of woh, spectra blade etc) use build that you have the weapon for. and this should get you to t8-t10, depending on ur gear and paragon.
3. you should have a ton of rift keys by now, so its a good idea to find a group to do greater rift
4. last but not least, play in groups! i know a lot of people prefer solo, but d3 is really a group game right now. Use community options, join an active clan, chat community or even a public game. especially when you just started, say you dont have the gear to do t6 effeciently yet. join pub game on t6 and most people will carry you.
What about more than 1 player is playing the same account? I am pretty sure that a lot of top ranked players are botting but i'm also pretty sure some of them might be sharing their account. 300h+ played time does not mean they are botting.
When I was young , I remember in D2 me and my brother used to share the same account. Maybe some of the top player are legit and are simply sharing their account. What do you think?

i mean botting is so widespread now, just by checking my friend list and looking at more and more people turning to bot and playing 24/7
and you know what the sad thing is, some people will look at this thread or the leaderboard and say to themselves if they can get away with botting why can't i also do it
since this thread is about people reaching gr100, i think people are just trying to point out that the <SoS> team that cleared it are known to use third party programs, thus C word and the reason why no one cares

Right click their name ----> view profile, under seasons tab -----> season 5 -----> summary, on the right hand side of the screen you can view how many hours they played under each class for season 5 ONLY
For example, check out clan <SoS> on top of 4s leaderboard (gabynator, smflavin), 300+ hours played, and season 5 only started for 14 days (14 x 24= 336 hours). you do the math, it only come out in one way ...
the only thing I would consider doing for now is 7% IAS on wep + 7% IAS on one ring
doesnt the bracer provide 50% IAS for hota. 7% IAS seems like such a small increase after that, is it worth it to trade off 1400+ vit on weapon and/or stats on the ring for it? or maybe i am missing somthing. thanks

I dont play wd, so i was hoping some1 could explain this to me.
The other day, i was running a speed grift with a wd. Skeptical at first, surprisingly, i found his clearing spd (especially on RG kill) much faster than some of the well geared HOTA barb i been running with. so here begs the question, why aren't there any WDs on top of the group leaderboard?

does any1 have any tips on how to use ET efficiently. i heard you could cast it in a way that it stop moving?
i noticed when i cast my ET, it goes everywhere and takes 4ever to kill elite and such
any tips would be appreciated, thanks

for solo monk u6 build, i have an ancient focus with 630 dex, 32% CHD, 5.5 CC
Im thinking to reroll either Dex or CHD to cooldown reduction, which one should i reroll?
