first few I did it sucked hit like 200 then 259 not gonna lie def a time waster having to retrace your steps after. This particular run I actually picked up mostly everything along the way turned out pretty good. Still I think for time sake kill fast loot fast and move one this was just to see how much of a streak i could get.
like 140% ish with paragon and nv stacks. only MF gear i have is legs with 11% im more interested in xp till 100 the MF comes with leveling so im not too worried about stacking it.

Yea I can rack up a huge streak on them but no xp, I think I can hit 400 in the fields of slaughter, it also depends on the rares you pull at the time if their melee its a lot easier then having to kite range of course.
Eh, my record for Massacre is about 240 on MP3 but I don't think this is as impressive (for myself) than the 120-150 or so Mighty Blow. Was quite surprised at that one. Felt good, yep.
Also I'm not as bothered by Massacre giving lower XP as you increase it as much as I'm bothered that Mighty Blow gives about 50% less experience. I mean what the hell?! It's MUCH harder to kill huge piles of mobs in one blow (or about 3 seconds max) then it is to go around on a sprint barb and tagging the entire floor of the dungeon. In my opinion at least.
It's pathetic that you can get a 311 kill streak and get under 30k exp for it. Kill streak exp should increase exponentially with mp imo.
With full XP gear and on MP10 this might easily be 500k or so, depending on which mobs you kill to get this streak. Not to say this is easy and simple, but *if* you would increase this exponentially, it could be exploited by some of the bad ass super high-end geared players... to level a char to p100 in a couple of hours. Just think about the scorpion leveling which was used by people to get a char to p100 in 3 days. Making bonus XP scale exponentially would not help the average Joe, just increase the gap between him and the few top players.
you make a good point about the gap between the "have"s and the "have not"s, but who cares if top geared players get to p100 in a few hours? They were going to get there quickly anyway. The waste of time between p75 and p100 was partially addressed by the increase in exp per mp so why not take it a step farther. For the purposes of this thread you might as well just do this on normal.
No, no no no. Paragon was introduced to give the high-end players at least *some* stuff to do, some goal to aim for. Even if you have insane godly gear, you still need a couple of hundred hours (or ~80 if you're super efficient) to hit p100. If you now introduce some backdoor mechanic that allows these players to "skip" that, you're just taking the long-term play incentive away and Blizzard needs to think about more endgame content.
Quest XP, for example, is something that actually discourages from the actual speed-leveling behavior of farming MP10 scorpions, plus it makes it more worthwhile for everyone. 300+ killstreaks is something that many players will never be able to get, but those who do don't *need* it. You're just wrong if you say "kill streak exp will benefit everyone" - you wouldn't believe how many players have sub-100k DPS and are not blasting through the content.
Just like the bonus XP buff for high MPs was not at all meant to make leveling *faster*, it was just fixing the issue that playing on high MPs actually made leveling *slower* (even 300k DPS players leveled on act 3 MP0/1).
Having two characters just below 100k DPS... Doing MP6 is barely efficient. What class do you play exactly that can do major kill streaks with 50k DPS on MP6?

True but all these examples are with MP off. Which is about as impressive as braggin about how many kittens one has smashed.
