The player will go and try to get the exclusive Inferno only gear and sell it on RMAH... which makes me a sad,sad panda.
Think about how exclusive the hardcore inferno player list will be though... Seems like a pretty high bar to aim for if you're into that kind of thing.
Am I the only one disappointed? It is just a 4th difficulty.
What I wonder though, how will it scale with co-op and will it, RMAH-wise, be more effective to grind hell or inferno?
Exclusive gear only available in Inferno difficulty? Not sure how someone can be disappointed about that. Additionally, the rarest drops in Inferno will probably fetch a pretty penny...
My questions is how this is going to effect the currently announced tiers of armor. Will it stretch the current number (can't remember exactly, 12?) across 4 difficulties or add new ones with the new announcement?
Besides the fact that Inferno will be an even tougher area for us to hike, with loots exclusive to its level. Is it simply the bar of where Hell level is set at in D3 (In D2 Hell was the highest) Or its toughness is going to make a whole new meaning for the gameplay? A place we move in only when we're teamed up and ready to get its special loots?
The article stated it's a level alot tougher comparing to D2's Hell level. Can anyone predict what kind of gameplay it's going to be like? Like kill a horde and run back to town? Everyone has to do their stun, well timed, because one scratch and the Wizard will light up like a torch?

I don't know, seems to me that going to Inferno difficulty will make me a very rich, rich panda. I kid of course but I like the idea of having a super difficulty, it was one of the best aspects of WoW and its Hardcore modes.
Also if you can make it to the top tier there will likely be some great items to sell. That makes it a win win for everyone.
Emo difficulty, all blood effects replaced with tears.
Also, I'm not sure with this announcement means that they will or won't be more likely to raise the level cap in expansions. I know this isn't WOW but a lot of ARPG's do this to prolong the game's life.
I think that probably Hell won't be so hard as it was in D2, since you should do a lot of farming to do Hell in D2. As it seems, the farming will begin at level 60, and be so higher that it will make you only want to farm at Inferno. As you can't progress in levels, and because they are aiming to a "flattened difficulty", I understand that Act I will be just as difficult as Act 4.
I hope that Inferno higher goodies drops doesn't make the "not-so-good" items very common, because this would ruin non-endgame market. Think about WoW and the expansions, before you changed to the expansions areas you would farm for a good item a lot of time just to make it look shitty as you get a better one as a quest reward in the first expansion's quest. That surely rewarded rushing to the expansion area.
I look very forward to trying out Inferno mode. For those that are still unsure of how it will work, I think that if you compare it to D2; D3 normal, nightmare and hell will be similar to the D2 versions but with an extra difficulty that is 50-100% more difficult than Hell (or even more difficult?).. Which makes one think ;o

Flattened difficulty through out the Inferno levels sounds interesting, I'm glad it's sounding like this level will have a very different purpose besides having the players progress it through as another level.

How cute
Oh sorry When I loaded up the forums I figured someone else would have by now. I'm usually never the first (or tied for first).
Too many in this thread...
Can't wait to play this game.
Do want, that sounds awesome. Not sure I'll have the balls to take a HC character there though, lol.
