All damage is the same, though, regardless of whether it comes from Str, CC+CD, whatever; it's all the same damage. Armour is different from each of the resistances, which are specific to each element, and HP is also different.
No, not all damage is the same. Imagine a character that kites stuff as in "shoot, run, run, run, run, shoot, run..". That char would gain no benefit at all from attack speed, he'd only be interested in hitting harder. Also, many Witch Doctors or Monks don't want attack speed because it ruins their resource management.
On the other hand, sure. you would have a point for different resists, if Blizz hadn't made the mistake of letting all resists roll the high values and single resists the low ones
But aside from that, EHP gives you much more accurate results than just an comparison of armor, for example.
No, no, no! Account bound on Transmogrify has got to go, No one is going to use it if it stays. It should be a fun little something that you do to spice up your character, not a worrisome thing you have contemplate. Especially with the removal of the AH, trading will be much more common. Let's say you get an awesome weapon that you know will be a high trade Item, but would like to use it in the meantime until you find something better (this is going to be with Loot 2.0 mind you). Now instead of adding a look to it you want you have to keep it the same in fear that when you do find something better you won't be able to trade it.
The enchanting mechanic is more than enough to take certain items out of the game. This should be a cosmetic treat, nothing else.
Love everything but one thing, I dont want transmorged items to be account bound. I'll probably go crazy trying out different looks to changing looks of items I get immedietely if its an upgrade. Dont want to be hesitating should I or should I not because of BoA.
Heck yea, loving the way they made enchanting (and xmog). Picking one stat to re-roll and locking all other stats down, having a choice of which stat to replace the chosen one, the ability to reverse the enchanting, and making it all BoA is freaking awesome. Not too op'd, but does it's job of increasing and items power (potentially) while removing it from circulation.
Well, a lot of people seem to be against BoA on Transmog. Thinking it over more, I have to say I agree. Those kind of fun, aesthetic customizations, shouldn't tie the item to you permanently. It would be as simple as removing the transmog once it changes hands, as others have suggested.
Enchanting, on the other hand, I still say that should remain BoA. I could see taking the binding off if the enchant is reversed, but that could go either way.
BoA on transmog, since you're gonna enchant your best items anyway, who cares? They would be BoA either way. If you're not enchanting you're not getting the best gear that's it, all of your items are going to be enchanted.
BoA on enchanted... is it a good idea? I don't know, it makes me feel like I have to wait until I get the best item possible until I enchant it. Good rolled items are still going to be ridiculously priced on the market, especially since items will be enchanted and disappear from the market, just like in HC.
I'm sure as hell happy that it's not Karyna from Act I. That artificially high pitched, scared, trembling voice she has whenever you talk to her was even more annoying than the Enchantress' "oh look I'm so stereotypically sweet" persona. And that's saying something.

A soft answer turneth away wrath. Once wrath is looking the other way, shoot it in the head!
I'm having a hard time understanding the hate towards "Enchanting and BoA". If you don't want to enchant, by all means, don't. Trade it to someone who is willing to do it. It increases the range of viable items. It also means that more items you find could potentially be good. If you don't want to enchant, like I said before, trade it to someone who will.
There's a "huge" outcry for permanency or meaningful choice. We now have a "permanent (BoA)" and meaningful choice and they all complain about it >_>
It's almost as if people were only playing a single character. Your BoA item will most likely be useful for another class you have.
This is awesome! I can't wait to hunt for items in order to save for transmog
Legacy items (items that drop before [the expansion/pre-expansion patch] goes live) will not unlock unique item appearance, but they can be Transmogrified.
I am very surprised that I did not see many people picking up on this ... If I read this right, items you have NOW will NOT unlock the item for transmog in RoS ...
Did anyone else take it this way? ... If that is correct, three bank toons worth of transmog items are about to get salvaged, and I'm not exactly thrilled about it ... =[

GG BLIZZ!
Well, if you define 'trade' as 'non-AH trade', then technically he's right.

Please don't feed the trolls.

This game is not perfect but better then most I've seen.

Yes that is correct, I meant non-AH trade like Player to Player, Chat Trade etc. or the trade where some lowlifes try to scam you
