Well, seems I ran into a bit of a problem. I am trying to abandon a colony, but I can't. Apparently, there's a bug that seems to strike users at random which prevents them from abadnoning their colonies even though they've gone through all the procedures.
So, until it is fixed, if anyone thinks about destroying one of their own cities, I advise you not to. It didn't work for, and so now I'm sitting with an empty town with no buildings in it...
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

It was located on an island with only me and another town. Donating went slow, so I wanted to move it to a more populated area. Plus I managed to get several people from my class to play the game, believe it or not, and the moving would place me very much closer to them.
It failed though. No ETA on a possible fix. i might try to contact a GO, but apparently they can't do anyhting about it.

You should have just built up your resources and then founded a new town next to your friends. Then you could have changed your new town to the capital and then abandoned the old town.

I don't see how first bulding a new colony would have solved the problem of nothing happening when I pushed the "Abandon colony" button.
Regardless, by some miraculous stroke of luck, it worked this morning however. Now I'll slowly move my entire (ha!) empire over to the new location.

ANyways, thanks Req, I'll try and send you some sulfur I guess. Can't remember how much I have. I just fill up my warehouse with it then just sell it off because I got a good enough army... lol...

No problem. I sent you 1,000 marble, but you can take your time paying me back if you need to (if at all - won't bother me any). I'm not doing much on the game at the moment anyway; just kind of sitting back, gathering resources, and (apparently) "retiring" spies from neighboring towns.

Hmm, well Rambo sent me 1500, and you've sent me 1000. So I'll send Rambo 1500 now, and when I get back up to 1000 I'll send you it all.
edit: Rambo, what are your co-ords?

Would anyone be interested in a cultural goods treaty? I have one with two other people right now, and it's a great way to get a little extra happiness boost for your colonies (provided you have a museum).
As much as your willing to offer. It will be a while before I can colonize an island with crystal.

I can give you marble I suppose. I want crystal, as much as possible. You will have to wait an hour though.
