Alright, Terminator Salvation was okay, alright fine, below average. There was a storyline though it sucked and it was really hard to follow, even I couldn't get most of it.
Alright so Marcus pops up and becomes the human-terminator mesh, then like years later after Judgment Day he goes WTF WHAT AM I DOIN HERE?!?!??! Goin to adult John Conner, apparently he's looking for his father Kyle Reese that is a teenager, which I have no idea how he got there in the first place. Then goin back to Marcus, he finds Kyle Reese in the LA ruins and joins up with him, only to have him WTFCAPTURED by a skynet prison ship, and he escapes. Then he meets up with a Resistance pilot that crashed and heads toward the Resistance base and gets WTFCAPTURED by John Conner. John Conner goes like OMFG UR A ROBOT HUMAN and puts him in prison. Then the girl earlei rshows up and frees MArcus. Then after unrealistic escape scenes, John and MArcus make a partnership to find Kyle Reese in Skynet.
Okay, so both of them go to Skynet, though both go on seperate paths (ironic), Marcus meets Skynet and learns who he is and why he was here and goes REBEL on Skynet and tries to save John Conner from dieing (in T3 the terminator says he killed him).
Alright this is what REALLY PISSED ME OFF. John Conner frees the prisoners and Kyle Reese but BAM the terminator (Arnold, though he wasn't really Arnold) starts to WTFPWN him. The terminator stabs Conner with a METAL BEAM through THE FUCKING CHEST and somehow Marcus saves him and leads him to the rescue copter to head toward base, WHILST CONNER STILL HAS THE INJURY. And what's more CONNER LIVES and that totattly screws up teh storyline of T1 - T3, the terminator says he DID kill Conner and later got reprogrammed to help Conner live throughout his young years. If Conner didn't fucking die then the terminator didn't get reprogrammed, thus T1-T3 didn't happen. ANYONE ELSE SEE THE PROBLEM HERE?!?!??!!?
Anyways rant over. the only thing i liked about Terminator Salvation is the actor who plays John Conner, he was fucking awesome
the movie was what it was supposed to be... no story line... shit blowing up... it was a terminator version of transformers... just so much shit blowing up you dont worry about whats actually happening... basically its a dude movie lol
Eh, I actually thought it was a decent movie.
Nowhere NEAR as good as the first two movies though.
Salvation's storyline was pretty shitty... it was there, but it was shitty.
The ending was SO bad. I mean holy crap, it was the most predictable thing I have ever seen.
**Possible spoilers**
After hearing all those "You've got a strong heart" quotes, you just KNEW what was coming.
**end spoilers**
The special effects were one of the only redeeming qualities of the movie, as well as the references to the older movies. It was a bit of a nod to anybody who had been following the Terminator movies.

The Wrestler was also a fairly good movie...
A lot of people slammed that movie for sucking so hard, but I honestly thought it was Mickey Rourke's best performance.
The ending was great as well, it really threw me off.
**spoilers**
Throughout the entire movie you're thinking that he's going to get back to normal, befriend his daughter, and make it with the stripper.
Then... he just dies.
Odd ending, but I absolutely loved it.

This movie had no clever one-liners. No crazy ass action scenes. And it lacked logic. Christian Bale just kind walked into that factory. And the ending was so overused that I was pretty much done.

True. The film was good, but not as epic as The Lord of the Rings. Atleast in the way critics saw it and the story as a whole. I actually have the film on blu-ray, and I personally feel The Dark Knight was put up a notch by the death of Heath Ledger. That's just how I (and maybe a lot of others) feel though.
Lord of the Strings sucked. Crappy special effects, and it was just overdone in every possible way. Dark Knight and Wall-E kicked so much more ass. You must no nothing about movies.

?_? Damn I was hoping for a worthy sequel. Now terminator is just Hollywood's new milking cow. Terminator Sarah Conor Chornicles, T3 and now piece of shit T4. Good job at making one of my favorite movie a complete marketing machine. I can see it all from here, T4 action figurines with the new retarded version of the terminator (now dummer than ever!), with the A792-L chip which makes it shot everywhere except where it's supposed to shot!
It was a shaky movie at best. In the middle of a massive barrage of bullets, Marcus somehow has the time to ask Blair if she's alright, and she has time to respond, all the while being hammered by enemy fire. And naturally they escape safely.
And a huge android five stories tall goes berserk on their hiding place, and I'm just thinking "Please don't transform into a car, please don't transform into a car".
And you knew from the beginning that Marcus was a cyborg, and that it would all be part of "the plan" for him to return to Skynet with valuable info for the machines.
Plus, the final terminator somehow survives one ton of hot molten iron being poured on him. And even though that could be believable, a tiny little burst of gas cools 400 pounds of said molten metal into freezing in mere seconds.
And the fuel cells are nuclear? And a regular explosion is going to set them off?
Bleh. The effects were very good however. But then again I think I went in with expectations set too high.

Well, there are more versions of Arnold out there. So it could be another event entirely. They're al just preparing ground for Terminator 5.

While I'm not trying to defend the movie, I would like to clear some things up. I'm going to assume that by "freeze" you mean return to it's natural state, or solid state. I don't think this scene is incredibly realistic, but there is a difference between molten metal becoming solid and water becoming ice. If I'm not mistaken, and I could be, molten metal can solidify in 20-30 seconds at room temperature so it does seem possible that it could be hardened in mere seconds if exposed to sub-zero temperatures in the form of a liquid/gas applied to the surface.

While the bomb dropped on Nagasaki was nuclear, it's detonation was triggered through conventional explosives.

That could be correct I suppose. Still, the amount of gas compared to the immense amount of metal and heat intuitively seems to be much too meager.

True, but the explosives were used to achieve critical mass in the atomic bomb, and not to set of a combustible reaction, as would appear to be the case in Terminator 4, where they basically strap on some explosives and watch the fireworks ensue.
