Oct 6, 2010Psyxix posted a message on Blizzcon 2010 Schedule (10/22-10/23)I really don't know what to think about this. 3 hours is way too short to show anything really exciting... then again, it could perhaps be where the announce the 5th class, release date and beta. Nah! I know I'm dreaming in colors... or am I??Posted in: News
Lets put this in perspective now, we were told that there wouldn't be an act 3 shown at this year's blizzcon. This gives us little choice, it's either act 1-2 or 4. There will also be a jungle showcased so it's either a transition from act 1 to act 2 or from act 2 to act 3. My guess is that this will be show during the "Creation of Sanctuary" panel.
So what's left for the gameplay panel? Well perhaps a new crafting system but I doubt it as we have seen a lot of stuff regarding that matter. We haven't seen the rune system for a long time so I guess it will make an appearance during the gameplay panel. Also, it is my honest opinion that they will show the last class during the gameplay panel. We will then have the opportunity to see all the different systems for every class, the rune system that puts a nice twist and maybe the final mana systems. This should, take up 2 hours. -

You have a sick sense of appetite =/!. Anyway, I think it's a nice addition to the undead, the "skill" should be given to the appropriate monsters though. I don't think a rock + flesh zombie such as the Unburied should be given the ability to puke. Also, vomiting should be considered a close ranged attack. That is ... if it's an attack! I mean everybody is assuming it's some kind of weapon but it could also be a cool death effect, like puking yourself to death when you're infected with a disease attack and run out of health ^_^, I'm just throwing it out there as a possibility. A pretty neat possibility if you want my opinion and I'm sure you do :)! -
Apr 8, 2010Psyxix posted a message on Vote for Blizzard!Posted in: NewsQuote from PhrozenDragon
Well it was a good run, but Blizzard's lack of new games seems to have been what lost them the battle
I completely agree with you... they got all the way up there based on people's nostalgia of Diablo, Starcraft and warcraft. That's an impressive fact on it's own :)! -

Just months away from release date, they start to remove and add key features and justify it by saying... "it's better for the game". What?!? better for the game.... and you realised this when? Removing the boss deaths sequences is just another proof that they lost focus at some point of the development. The feature was on the list for 4 freaking years and they just decided to remove it now... something doesn't add up. If they decided not to do it 2 years ago, I would of understood.... but they had 4 years to do it, there is no excuse.
Seriously, it's when I look at the Blizzard North crew that I realise how good they were. They took a total of 3 years to develop the whole game and we are still playing it. The irvine team is taking 7 years and I sadly doubt that it will be that much better against guild wars 2. I know they want to make a worthy sequel, but this is already looking like a flop to me. Not because it won't be good, but because the ratio development time/quality is diminishing very rapidly. Tic toc Jay Tic toc.

This is looking more and more like Fable now, they give you all those wonderful features and just before release, they squam half of it saying things like: "system isn't relevant", "not mature enough", " it didn't feel right", "Added nothing". I don't know what is happening behind the blizzard doors but I'm eager to get my collector's edition to see those meatballs working on it. When they said that diablo 3 would be the last of the current franchise I was sad. Now I couldn't be happier, this wait is a true torture and seeing how it's going down in the last months before release is painful!
I cant believe they said late 2011 and now we"re in february. Well one this is for sure, I think that Blizzard is run by the 3 evils. They make me HATE them for the 4 year wait, they DECEIVE us with false release dates, I DESTROY my desk each time there has been a system change and they TERRORISE us by saying the game might now come out in early 2012.

Anyway, we have plenty of good o'l games to keep us entertained (battlefield 3, batman, skyrim... need I say more?

You can see from those videos that Jay is in the final stretch to finish the game People tend to say uhhh a lot when he's tired or stressed. It could be the press even but the 2010 was probably more stressful for him and he didn't say that many uhhh there. Just mindless speculations, I guess as a fan I wanna have the game in MY hands by the end of the year *sigh*.
LETS HOPE FOR THE BEST ^^!

I've read an article about a study where people were invited to a tv show. In it, they had to give an electric shock each time the "victim" answered wrong to a certain question. Now the intensity of the electric shocks ranged from 10 V for the first wrong question to 800 V max. From 500V you can potentially kill someone. I must say that the show was a set up and that everything was simulated....except the test subjects (invited citizens). The conclusion was that more than 90% of the people went and gave the maximum dose of 800V because they did not dare revolt against the authority that represented the TV show. They went to 800V despite the fact that the "victim" seemed to suffer greatly after 400 V and stopped responding after 500V. This is crazy! When they were asked why they went this far as to kill a man, these normal people all said :" Since it's a TV show, it's not possible that I was really killing someone". This my friends is power, being able to control people and suppressing their moral values in order to impose yours. BAD FOR THE FUTURE!
