    i guess i dont really understand the quandry with people, the kid whose buying 3 extras or whatever... thats what you call an investment, you put money into it in the hopes that it will make you more money down the road, its like stocks, its not guaranteed but if he can capitalize, then it was a sound investment... if not, then he just wasted his time.

    posted a message on No Runewords. Thoughts on why this happened?
    i think the biggest reason for no runewords is the fact that in diablo 2 runewords really devalued alot of skills... take enigma for example, giving the ability to teleport to any char greatly devalued the farming nitche of sorcs while at the same time gave ludicrous advantages to characters like hammerdins (13-17k hammers, 5k life, maxblock AND teleport??) wind druids (7knado 3khurricane, 7k life mb AND teleport...) as you can see.... the characters with mass life/damage completely took over battle.net for a long time (now we sort of see resurgance of sorc with es builds).... not to mention what they did to skillbuilds such as zealers who were at a tactical disadvantage after teleport became available to every char...

    lol @ customers are the boss... you are waiting on them, you are dying for their game, you will make it sell mil plus in first week (as will i) so who is really the boss here? if we didnt buy the product blizzard wouldnt exist?? it came into existence without our help, it went from creating game ports and morphed into what it is today... we had nothing to do with birthing it, we just help support our adopted child... and dont lie, you will buy it and play it just like everyone else... it may b with reluctance but you know that there is crack in that little box, crack to be smoked for months on end that will keep you up until 3 am, make you lose sleep, controlling you...and whose the boss?

    oh yea, and its actually "patience" not patients.

    I won't buy Diablo if the game is delayed Q4+. It's not a lie and claiming so is ignorant. I have a line, as does everyone. I don't play Diablo like a crack addict, I'm sorry your projections of self have to reflect on others, but I am not you.

    We are the boss, end of story. Without the masses to buy the product, then they COULDN'T stay in business. The birthing of the Blizzard has NOTHING to do with the maintenance of Blizzard. There is no correlation. We are the boss.

    if you think im projecting my life upon this, which obv im not between work, family, kids, etc, look what you just did? you think since you wont buy it if it comes out q4 that nobody will, you consider yourself the masses, the unpaid boss of a company. kind of hypocritical. maintenance has everything to do with birthing, you have to take care of it, nurture it as it grows, take your lumps because life isnt always smooth sailing. not that i would expect such reflection from a irate fanboy such as yourself

    People whined because they felt Diablo 3 was in development, wanted Blizz to at least say they were working on it. Now, the game has been announced, lots of media available for it, there's a beta, and people are whining because the game isn't out, or at least a release date given. Serious bunch of self-entitled crybabies, not just for this game, but any game that's been anticipated. Make it sound like their lives are somehow lessened because of this and look for someone to blame. Get over it already, go outside, get a life. It's just a game.
    WOW thank you really changed my life*sarcasm*, but please your keep your BS to yourself ok ? Or if you really want to say something start your own thread.
    How about you get a life, and stop judging ours.

    highlander = gets it
    mekanykl = 10year old with no concept of reality

    Heres my gripe, I do respect blizzard for taking their time in making a quality game. You wouldn't be a true fan if you didn't. I just started at a new college and I have been working really hard to make sure I can get ahead enough in my studies that I can devote as much time to the game in the following weeks without hurting myself academically.

    This is where the post gets all Nerd Ragey... Blizzard obviously forgets what it means to do quality work under the constrant of a deadline. They cost themselves more money to fix non essencal problems in their quest for perfection. The question is what exactly isn't working that is keeping production behind? The less then promised 2011 release... what happened there? I've been following their stocks and if you look at the day they released that nugget of information it dropped a lot from about $13 to $10 in a matter of hours. normally they only drop .30 - $1 in a trading day with the rise and fall of a normal market. It seems to me that them NOT releasing this game is just costing them. (and yes i know that the activision side of that company accounts for some of it.) On that note I think their new activision overloards are getting in their way.

    If you look at Blizzards track rating before the merger they did pretty darn good for release days (by Blizzard standards pretty good.) The WoW expantions seems pretty on the ball on when they got released. Starcraft II was pretty meh on it but on the ball none the less. That announcement came out what 2007? and release was in 2010. Diablo was in 2008? and here we are in 2012 still waiting...

    ur in school, go take an economics class. also, it seems that you forgot prior to the activision merger we were waiting for what7-8 years for an ANNOUNCEMENT... they failed to get a sequal to the diablo franchise out in the years before the merger so in reality your arguement is pretty null...

    i feel that most of the wining comes from kids who dont understand the economics of it.... hurry up to please fans and put out bad game = bad/slow sales now and for future releases.... make them wait a few months while we finish up everything we need to = impatient people now but once game comes out it flies off the shelves because you buy it, tell your friend how good it is so he buys it and his friend buys it etc... please just calm down.
