Not so colorful, without the warm tones.
and yes, cold and dark tones.
And a few scratches, after all who struggle with
demons can not look as pretty clean and fragrant.
Maybe he went shopping in the morning.
LOL!
Do you agree?
You won't be able to see like any of those changes when you're actually playing (though I guess you could just use PS to put that stuff on a game character, in which case I would say your PS-ed photo has no credence since you're mixing two entirely different art mediums- pictures and live 3D), and with the in-game lighting, I seriously doubt that that slight amount of tonal change is really going to make a difference. I think it looks fine as it is.
don't forget that we'll be able to use dyes to change the colors of our items into what we think of as more fitting. so its gonna be all the "i like it dark" people with black/grey dyes and the majority of the people with more interesting ideas.
I definitely like the look. I'm not using the witch doctor first though. I'm still deciding on which class my first character will be. Besides, there's one left to reveal so I can't make a final determination yet.

I make sure people go to jail. The only thing more fun is Diablo 3.
Recently I found a list for the item set reveal for each class up to the BlizzCon
Bashiok's announcement
Every Tuesday and Thursday leading up to BlizzCon on October 22 we'll be sharing a behing-the-scenes sneak peek at a gear set that will be featured in the playable demo at the event. Please enjoy!
Fuck wow's outofthisworld gigantic shoulderpads with balls of light all over them.
No, gimme!
Obviously bigger shoulder pads equal better games. That's why WoW is so successful, and I think Blizzard is continuing with that theme in D3. Hopefully lvl 60 character will have shoulder pads the size of refrigerators.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
First off, we now know exactly what class and gender they will be revealing over the next few weeks.

9/30 Male witch doctor - http://twitpic.com/2tdu5f
10/5 Female wizard -

Along with the schedule, Bashiok further commented on the actual gear presented. First, that this gear set is around mid-range. So for anyone worried about this being the Witch Doctor's top-end gear, worry not. However, for those hoping this was the first level, sorry. Another comment he made was how the dye system would effect this particular armor. As it has already been stated, only certain pieces of the armor can be dyed. Bashiok said that the redish-orange pieces of the armor would be the pieces effected by dyes. Lastly, he also stated that this "set" of gear is not an actual set. Meaning that it is not a set with a particular name and stats attached to it. It it more like the leather, gothic, full plate, type of set. Which is also good news for those worrying about its style and epic-ness.

The Monk was also the last class to be designed so it only makes sense that his armor s the least develped. The fifth class might be done but they can't show it for obvious reasons.

Hrm... I am undone
I thought I recalled not seeing them anymore in favor of regression to Diablo II days without pants as equipment. Oh well.
That is exactly what I aimed on doing today. I have a hit list in the backstage forums. Seriously. (Don't look now, Scyber, it's invisible.)
Please tell me that was sarcasm. If I see anymore of that, I seriously might explode

Ohhh I agree!..
My dream is to work at Blizzard.
This year I graduated in graphic designer, and I intend to pursue a career in gaming.
one day I get to the blizzard.
About the colors, no matter the tone, either hot or cold.
what matters is the differentiation of objects and light saturation of each.
they could have put everything in gray and even then it would be possible to distinguish each element.
so cold and dark tone is purely optional.
I think it was a move to attract younger players, than most 16 + who like that sort of game. It was pure marketing.
.......... Abraços!
Added~
Edit~
Oh snap, you added it on your own. Thanks
