I think Phrozen didn't do as good of a job explaining some of the staff losses as he could have.
Well to be honest I tried to simply put it up there, not trying to make it sound good or bad. Just the history.

I honestly don't give a shit if Curse owns this site, or if Homer Simpson owns this site. The only thing I care about, is what the owner is doing. I'm not a really old member on this site, but I've grown accustomed to several members around. That being said, I'm feeling less and less comfortable due to the fact that members are leaving very often. Not just any members, but members I actually like posting with.
You're not the first to say it. There have been times in the past when members have felt the same as you. We always weathered naturally, but I think most users who feel like you do oftentimes leave in short time

Good post PD, could have used a bit more Mephisto's Lament, but it's all good. It's pretty informative.
Couldn't everything?

Well most likely were going to get another huge influx of new people, and then when all the rage over the game cools down, the majority of the new people will just leave.
Except that time the game will have actually been released, which should grab a whole lot more people than "Here's the game! When can you see it? Oh, um, three years?"

I'm somewhat saddened that 2005, the so-called precambrian era of diablo3.com, was largely skipped over.
Skipped only because I know nothing of it. I wasn't here, and the post was history was compiled by me, so I didn't know what to write about it. Naturally? if this site ever gets a history section we should add the early year as well.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

I'm not sure as to wether Fuel was active after 2005, that's when the old website got its initial makeover and forum reboot, causing me to make an account some two months later. I has blue writings!
I haven't been to this site for a while (although I did notice some of the promotions when I lurked around), but seems like the mods and admins are leaving in a hurry
I remember the chaos when Diablo III was finally announced. Truthfully, I did come straight here after hearing the news from a friend of mine, although the site was taking far too much than it could handle at the point. I also remember when the avatars and signatures were taken down, along with the complaining of various ignorant users who didn't understand the definition of 'Bandwidth". I also remember explaining it to them many, many times.
Although, I stopped posting shortly after Diablo 3 came out, mostly due to involvement with another forum, but I never stopped lurking around here.

Oh man look at this old ass thread. Some of my first posts are in there.I'm having a nostalgiagasm.
Oh my god! It seems like every single DIII storyline was already discussed in that thread! lol. People aren't lying when they say that everything everyone is talking about now has already been discussed a million times before.
Dude! That is Shavedbarb posting in here! I remember reading about that post of the "Interesting Diablo 3 Pic", the original fan created DIII boxart, and everyone was saying how incredible it was for someone to do that, that it must have been from Blizz. 10 minutes on Photoshop nowadays and someone can come up with a waaaaay better design. lol

Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions
Welcome back Requiem! Well, so to speak. It's a tumultuous time right now to be sure
Lots of new exciting changes coming though.
So you're finally going through with that operation, eh?
Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions
Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions
It just goes to show that even the really old inactive users still use this site regularly to check for news
Damn straight
Didn't see this thread for a while, I always ignore the news threads for some reason...
Fuck you, I'm a dragon.
So much has changed.

Sad times indeed.

Well if you were an old user who didn't post anymore, wouldn't this be exactly the kind of thread that would spur you into commenting?
And miss gold like this?
Hiya, Requiem!
(you are missed.)
