Hi, been playing this game for a long time, bounty was great at first but start to get boring as i go further. Now what i like to do is rift and grift.
I just dont get it why we are force to do bounty to get those fragment whish that mob drop them to or a new system of acquisition.
I just dont like to be force to do something that i dont want to do ><
I dont like having to breath, but I still do it, the world is filled with things that we dont like to do but have to do them
anyway, you know what the difference is between a rift and a bounty ? A Little XP and chance of a Legendary, Do them on T6 and your guaranteed a legendary and good chunk of XP.
+1
Do them on T6 and get a legendary. Not very hard for most classes now, and goes quite fast too boot.
That should be enough for 5 rifts + 5 greater rifts, which is a couple of hours of rifting/playtime for most people.
Yeah I used to like rifting but now it's getting boring. Why can't they just let all the items drop in town.
Or actually I don't like having to pick the items up. Why can't they just spawn in my bags when I'm offline. This way diablo won't interfare with my other activities.
I don't like having to to something I don't want to ><
I honestly think that the balance currently is pretty good. The only reason I have so many extra is because I played a bunch in season before the Torment buffs to caches, and I was trying to get a decent RROG. The current balance though is that a single act (which ever one you prefer) of bounties + the cache gives you enough to rift/grift for quite a while. Then you just do another run.
Are they a bit boring to do? sure. But it isn't very time consuming to get them compared to how much time you spend rifting.
Perhaps it's just me, but I really hope now that they've buffed the cache leg chance, that they don't rebalance the rate of keystones. There is less reason to do extended bounty runs now, which means that if they rebalance it, there really will be an issue with having to spend a bunch of time doing bounties just so you can rift.
Bounty: Semirandom assortment of short quests yielding experience and riftstones, as well as a small number of blood shards. 5 bouties in an act gets a cache.
Rift: A multilevel dungeon that uses riftstones to enter. While inside you have buffed legendary droprate and killing enemies summons a boss with high chance of one or more legendary drops, as well as a chance at a trialstone.
There's the difference. The point of bounties is to get beginner legendaries from caches and to serve as a gating mechanics so that you experience non-rift gameplay once every few weeks. I personally like to do bounties every once in a while.
still waiting for anyone to explain the difference between a rift and a bounty, outside of XP of course.
Rifts have a +100% chance to drop legendaries compared to the same level bounty. Now, there are other differences, nuances, but this seems to be the one people focus on most.
EDIT: Maybe that's not the proper wording. They have their chance to drop legendaries doubled compared to the same level bounty. ( Isn't that the same thing though?)

The bonus is 25% actually, unless I missed a blue saying they ninaj-buffed it. And level has nothing to do with legend droprates. Difficulty does.

No, it's 100%. Always has been. The released a legendary buff at the beginning of RoS giving everyon +100% leg chance. People liked it so much that blizzard just baked it into rifts.

Originally they were 25%., I remember because I had a chart listing the bonuses. Anyway, yes I found the blue for the increase to 100% bonus, however IIRC they kept the 100% event bonus baseline as wel even before they made the rift change.
So it wasn't baked into rifts, an rifts didn't start at 100% but yes I missed that they are now 100%. Everybody loses!
Rifts have always been intended to be the most efficient play method in the game, currently they aren’t for a number of reasons. Part of this has to do with the high level of efficiency in farming that players find doing things like farming Manglemaw, Razorclaw and any other number of unique monsters. Another contributing element is that farming chests without having to actually fight monsters is far more effective than actually fighting the monsters. It is very important to us that chests are exciting to find and feel rewarding but presently they are far too common and reliable to farm in certain areas of the game.

The bonus legendary drop rate for rifts is being increased from 25% to 100%!
(This means that while in a rift your chance to find a legendary item from monsters, chests, elites, and everything else is double what it is outside of rifts. No this does not mean opening bounty bags in rifts is the new hotness.*) - See more at: http://www.diablowiki.net/Nephalem_Rifts#sthash.XDO8nleX.dpuf

I already do t6 bounty its just get boring really quick!
I would like a new way to acquire them. Am i asking for to much?
i would even like to trade my shard for it.

If you are bored, find a different game.
I hate when people post Bro-science with nothing to back it up so in b4 (source?):
