The FO changes aren't that big of a deal. The skill still works as it did before, just a smaller radius and lower chill effect. I'm totally fine with that.Quote from Crumplezone
15 % damage reduction on all sources on crusader? Oh thank you god.
30% would have been nice, but I see the 15% reduction as a middle ground by blizzard especially considering Crusaders are not fully geared out yet, this is excellent and I hope this means I stop getting my health annihilated by magic attacks so badly from magic orientated groups in t2 and above.
Oh and the tears to come from all the FOTM frozen orb wizards, I just can't wait to see, mm, delicious.
Also really sensible changes to crafting mats especially on rares, it means its going to be more feasible to craft yellow upgrades with not requiring death's breaths and no more FLAWESS GEMS in crafting recipes! My god thats quality of life change or what.
I do think that the big wins for the day are:
1. Increased Crusader toughness.
2. Increased Crusader dps
3. Crafting quality of life improvements.

Thank you for taking the time to post this for those of us who aren't fortunate enough to get into the beta.

If someone is using an add-on that puts numbers over the cooldown animation on the bar, then they are violating the ToS and risk being banned. I wouldn't do it if I were you. However, I would love to see Blizzard add that option in the UI settings for those that want to enable it.

I understand that there are a lot of people who think that RoS doesn't have an end game. As someone who doesn't have beta access, I can't confirm nor deny I feel that way about the expac, for the love of all that is holy, can we just create a sub-section in the forum for these threads and hide them from the "top feeds" section. I'm getting sick of people posting threads with no rational reason for the titles. I see some of these "RoS sucks" or "RoS has no end game threads" that make valid points, but a lot of them are just people whining that their most wanted idea wasn't implemented exactly like they wanted it to be.
We all have the right to criticize, but at least give a rational argument to your viewpoint and provide reasonable suggestions for improvement. Now, I'll stop my own whining and get back to work.

These are great ideas and exactly the kind of things that the community should be giving to the devs. Here are my suggestions (all Whimseyshire themed):
1. Infernal Herding Daibo: Tempest Rush leaves a trail of rainbows that do XX% as holy damage over XX seconds.
2. Waffle of Torment (Shield): When an attack is blocked, enemies get covered in syrup causing their movement speed and attack speed to be reduced by xx% for XX seconds.
3. Horn of the Cursed Unicorn (Mojo): Zombie Dogs get transformed into unicorns. The unicorns release a sparkling cloud aura that reduces damage done by monsters by XX%.
4. Astronomical Candy Box (Source): Your meteors cover monsters in fudge, which increases the damage from your next school of magic used by XX%.
5. Lollipop of Fury (2H mighty weapon): Turns your HOTA into a brittle lollipop which shatters on impact. The shattered pieces cause all enemies within XX yards of the impact to bleed for XXXX-XXXX over XX seconds.
6. Boots of the Ferocious Teddy Bear: Removes the discipline cost of vault and makes a funny squeaking sound when you land. (If you're going to make vault OP, then you have to make it reasonably annoying to hear...)
7. Leggings of the Loot Pinata: You can no longer take physical (or arcane, or fire, or cold, or lightning, etc.) damage; however, the damage from all other sources is increased by 50%.

Typically, I think Blizz likes to buff when they can. Maybe some sort of benefit of heavenly strength 1H could be something like increase the damage of your 1H strikes by 10%. I mean, you do have heavenly strength coursing through your veins and all...

Please keep in mind, ladies and gentlemen of the forum, I'm just a wizard noob. I fell into the rut of the WW Barb and later found out about the elements. Your world frightens and confuses me! Sometimes the whirling orbs of your spells make me want to get out of my perma-Archon and run off into the hills, or wherever. Sometimes when I get a massacre on this killing machine, I wonder: "How in the hell did I do that?" I don't know! My primitive mind can't grasp these concepts. But there is one thing I do know - I don't always play a wizard, but when I don't, I sure as hell won't play my DH.

One thing that I noticed in this thread was that no one mentioned the density potentials you encounter in Nephalem Rifts. I may sound like a conspiracy theorist, but what if they are going to lower the overall density to push people who want high density interaction into end game features like Nephalem Rifts, Cursed Chests, etc.

I agree. I was hoping that Thorns would be good and it doesn't look like we will be let down by it now. Imagine this build with a Monk's Sweeping Winds build!
I'm already pumped about the Crusader but this video makes me want RoS to get here that much faster.

"Companion calls all companion types to your side." = This will be interesting to play with.
"Sentries cast your hatred spenders." = I'm excited about this one!
"You are immune to Desecrator, Molten, and Plagued monster types." = This sounds too good to be true. I bet it will come on something without primary stats.
"Enables all Archon runes." = damn...if only they were keeping perma-Archon.
"When you die, a meteor falls from the sky and revives you. This effect has a 300 second cooldown." = This will be nice so you don't have to run back, but it's not a game changer.
"2% chance on killing a demon to gain a random Shrine effect." = I wonder if this will include just the regular shrines or the Nephalem Rift OP ones too.
"Earthquake_Set_x1 - Earthquake Set" = I wonder if this is going to be a new armor set that improves the Earthquake ability of the barb.

As a former Warcraft player, I could see that someone might think it is a little bit like the Warrior's tier armor set at the end of Cataclysm (http://www.wowhead.com/itemset=-466). However, I think that it looks much more like what we would have expected a nephalem to look like in the first generation. It looks both angelic and demonic.
