Will be interesting to see how different they could make the Necro compared to the WD.

My biggest issues with D3 (current version) were lack of randomized content, How Paragon gave you incentive to play only one class and how the skill rune system took replay value away from rerolling the same class as a different build.
So far They announced loot runs which takes care of my randomization issue.
They Announced a Paragon system with point allocation that has no cap and is account wide... basically promoting Alt character play...
They fixed everything, Sure they still have the Skill/rune system but the paragon 2.0 system is enough that it makes me want to play more than one class and thats all i wanted.
Other things like better loot, new class, new act, bosses, monsters, items, mystic and transmorg are all great bonuses as well.
If the expansion released today i would wait on a 10 hour line to buy it. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

MP10 on ezmode farm. (accomplished).
All classes to 60 without being power leveled ( accomplished)
Get one class through inferno hardcore with self found rules (accomplished).
One class to Para 100.
So basically all i have to do is level to para 100... Xp farming is soul crushing tbh. I hardly play D3 anymore.
Its to bad there's no reason to design builds and re-level, no competitive ladder racing, no leveling pvp characters... Blizzard really took away the stuff that i liked from D2... if D2 was this shallow i would have quite in less than a year also.
I guess Blizzard assumed people would rather work the RMAH for RL money instead of doing those things i listed above... However, im not interested in making pennies while playing D3 i have a way to make money already.

Oh it could be done... they could bring cain back or some other elder and have us talk to him ... he could go over the history of Tristram and suddenly you and a party are sent back flashback style to The original Dungeon in Diablo 1 for 10 levels... or Ported to the old mephisto fight, or the siege of arret... Honestly i think Diablo fans would eat it up!

New Classes:
Paladin: We need another strength class and a Paladin seems to fit since its an Iconic Diablo class.
Druid: A shapeshifter... Caster, Melee, pets... YES PLEASE!!!!
Necromancer: We need a true Minion master class in D3!
More Skills, Runes and Passives for existing classes.
Content:
New Acts, New Events, Monster Types, Dungeons, New Ubers, new item tiers and some type of Never ending Endgame mechanic (Maps, Endless Dungeon, User created content with the Arcade maybe?).
Crafts:
More Crafting recipes including full BoA sets (not all need to roll BiS), New crafter that allows us to socket gear, reroll stats, transmog gear and enchant gear.
The return of the Gambler.
More Gems types, The return of Runes, Runewords and the Horodric Cube.
Competitive PVP & PVE:
Ladder Seasons that last 3-6 months with unique item sets, Gems & Runes only available in Ladder.
Open Public PVP games.
4v4 Arena & 4,8 & 12 player PVP game modes (CTF, Domination, King of the Hill and more...)
Dueling with the Option to Bet gold and Items.
Addtional:
Cosmetic Perks for leveling paragon (Auras around character, Pets, Titles.
Perks for Achievements (cosmetics, unique dyes, Pets, Emotes)
A overhaul of the banner system Let it become an evolution of the Charm system.
Let us socket 1 large and 2 small charms into banners that give 30 minute buffs to the group when we go to town.
Make Super Uniques (the purple named monsters) Much more difficult, harder to find and give them loot comparable to Res chest.
Let us completely gear up Followers to make them more than Buff and CC bots.
Bring some Old bosses and Monster types from Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 into D3 through a Caverns of time mechanic... let us relive our past glories in the Diablo 3 engine.

Its a XP balance nightmare to add in zones to existing acts across all difficulties. Lets say you add in 6 zones to the game. Blizzard needs to take the xp players gain from the maps and the balance the entire game XP wise so players don't grossly over level areas.
It would be much easier from a balance standpoint to just add a new side farming zone to inferno or this explorer mode idea.

There are many in the game that i truly enjoy clearing.
Everytime i run a great dungeon like this i ask myself... why can't randomly spawned dungeons also have more than 2 floors?
What if these dungeons also randomly added levels? 2,3,6 hell even 10!!! This is a dungeon crawler right? Being stuck with only 2 floors seems so limiting.

Unlimited access throughout the entire game and difficulties would be amazing. Sadly with the way the game is hard-coded to the mission select screen and mission progression. I figured it would just be much easier for blizzard to also have explorer mode connected to the mission screen as an endgame option.
I don't know much about game design but i would imagine disconnecting the game from its linear mission select gamplay would break many things and require a lot of work.
However i do agree 100% unlimited access would be ideal.

No AH trading (buying or Selling), Trading within a group is ok imo as long as you helped kill that monsters that dropped the loot you are about to accept.
I also feel that Vendor gear should count as self found since vendors were designed to fill small itemization holes drops and crafting cant fill and most of the good vendors are found through gameplay.

So you just completed inferno mp0 for the first time...
Suddenly a Notification pops up on your screen!
YOU UNLOCKED EXPLORER MODE
But what is explorer mode?
You go to Mission select and see a new option Explorer.
You select it and set your MP.
You log on. Now what?
You run to the waypoint and now not only do you see WP for Act 1 but tabs for act 2,3 &4!!!!
You have complete access to every WP without logging out of the game!
Then a Notification Pops onto your screen "ALL BOSSES, EVENTS and DUNGEONS Are spawned in Explorer mode!"
You begin theory crafting your farm routes... taking into account boss rooms, events and spawned dungeons... Then you notice one last thing.
In the Waypoint Selection screen There are new zone maps to choose!!
Thats right In explorer mode Blizzard can add new Zone Maps to any act!!!
You have 100% Access to all acts without logging out and blizzard can add in an unlimited about of content without disrupting XP balance!
