Will be interesting to see how different they could make the Necro compared to the WD.

My biggest issues with D3 (current version) were lack of randomized content, How Paragon gave you incentive to play only one class and how the skill rune system took replay value away from rerolling the same class as a different build.
So far They announced loot runs which takes care of my randomization issue.
They Announced a Paragon system with point allocation that has no cap and is account wide... basically promoting Alt character play...
They fixed everything, Sure they still have the Skill/rune system but the paragon 2.0 system is enough that it makes me want to play more than one class and thats all i wanted.
Other things like better loot, new class, new act, bosses, monsters, items, mystic and transmorg are all great bonuses as well.
If the expansion released today i would wait on a 10 hour line to buy it. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Like i said, they should just stop talking about D2 because they are coming off like they dont like the game at all. Its just bad PR in general.

Here's the article where Blizzard puts its foot in its mouth.
http://www.pcgamer.c...y-in-diablo-ii/
"I don’t think people necessarily remember how mad they themselves were that they had an offline mode and online mode in Diablo II," Martens said. "This will probably be controversial for me to say. People will be like, 'I wasn’t mad!' But I was there at the time, and then I studied this for a living. It sucks when your friend or brother is online and he wants to join this game, but you realize you’re an offline character and he’s an online character, and there’s no way to transfer over because offline characters can be hacked and hex-edited to hell and back, right?"

Well i have over 1800 hours in D3 on PC and my Console character shits all over him... So yeah for me its little to no effort.

Its not as awesome as you think it is. I have around 200 hours in the console version with a 450k Dps unbuffed barb with 120k hp and 900 AR. It took almost no effort to get like that and i couldnt careless what other people found when im that OP.

I'm all for making enchanted and high end crafted gear BoA, thats fine. But you need to let people trade the other stuff. I don't care if you only let them use trade forums and chat to barter.
By taking away trading you taking away one of the major selling point of the genre, an item economy. Remove that and you also diminish another feature, Ladders.
For many a new ladder season means a new economy, new price lists and a chance to strike it rich. without trading its a leveling race (only 1% of the players care about) and a hunt for ladder items (gets old quick).
I just think this whole thing is a bad idea. I suggest everyone make a fuss and maybe Blizzard with change their minds.

Honestly i'll give it to blizzard for trying something new. I mean before D3 released if someone told you we would see a Diablo game with No skill trees, pvp or trading what would you have said?

That Blizzard hates trading and how Sony is willing to spend a lot of money to ensure D3 is only on PS4.

Blizzard gave them an entire game. L O L

Neph Trials
Devils Hand
Loot runs
Were three seperate mechanics.
Now we know Loot runs were renamed Neph Rifts and im unsure if the other two were wrapped into this mechanics with bounties and adventure mode or if they still exist on their own.

Player Mail is pretty much what it sounds like,” Humphreys explained. “You can mail an item to a friend on your friends list, so it’s pretty straightforward. Player Gifts are kind of a cool twist on that. So, let’s say you’re out adventuring in the world and you get a Legendary item that drops. There’s a small chance that a second Legendary would spawn off of that. So, let’s say you and I are playing, it would say ‘gift for [your friend] has dropped,’ and so once I click on it, it would just go straight to your mailbox. And once you open it, it will roll for your class. It’s kind of a way to help share your adventures even if you aren’t online at the same time
Avenger Kills:
Let’s say you’re out playing in the world and a lowly white monster manages to get that last killing blow on you,” Humphreys said. “There’s a chance that that monster will level up and then a portal will open and the monster will jump through. And then maybe later on when I’m playing in my game, a portal may open up and the monster will come through and I’ll get a message like ‘[your friend]’s killer is now hunting you.’ And I have a chance to then take vengeance for this monster that killed you. It’ll be now a unique monster that has affixes and is much more powerful and when loot drops, of course, I’ll be able to get mine, but that I can send some back to you. It’s just kind of a fun way to help connect games.

A player could link a stash tab on forums or in chat, set a price and then if someone is interested in an item in that stash the seller gets a message to meet the buyer in game.
THis seems like the evolution of bartering and unlike the AH doesn't completely destroy the core of the game.
I would love to see something like that in Diablo 3. Give us a fourth stash just for public trading, sellers could add in custom notes on each item.
