the character sheet dps can be deceiving in regards to WW spec.. so even if u have a very low dps offhand u'll be doing a ton of damage with tornado's... that said if ur offhand is very high DPS your Whirl winds will do a lot more damage... it alternates damage between ur main hand and off hand.. but ur tornado's actually might do LESS damage if the offhand doesnt have supporting stats.. overall doing less damage

LL life leach LOH life on hit IAS increased attack speed. run like the wind ability creates tornado's which do damage based off ur main hand weapon. the faster ur attack speed the faster the tornado's tick. they take ur attack speed in alternation between ur main hand an off hand. so if u have a super slow main hand with very high damage and slow attack.. and an offhand which is very fast.. ur tornado;s will tick faster half the time as well as do a lot more damage.

most people go with a mace or axe main hand with very high damage and slow attack speed, socket or crit damage. then the offhand maybe a sword or dagger with super fast attack with all the things u need.. life steal socket, crit damage, life on hit and str, attack speed

    example:

mainhand mace with 1200dps and socket and life steal
offfhand dagger with 600dps 150str, socket, crit damage life steal

when u have over 100k dps u can use life steal exclusively on ur weapons and belt.. coupled with ur 3% life steal passive.. thats 9%-12% life steal

posted a message on Why do you play D3?
not really sure 99% of my friends quit it already. just not the game it was hyped to be. i just wish they didnt make builders and spenders for every class.. WIZARD is terrible design... shoulda been a necro or worc with mana. Demon Hunter CC isnt very effective in inferno as the % less to CC.. and they are to fragile because of this.. plus it feels lack luster anyways.. builders spenders on a hunter class? the randomly generated maps arent random enough... when i play the game it is much to linear. i wish a game came out like never winder nights... when ppl made there own server mods for that game it was by far the best ARPG i've ever played. the item system is to generic and not unique enough..

maybe its the fact the game wasnt polished enough on release.. maybe it was the fact that it was to hard for new players and then they left. maybe it was just so many things combined and the fact its pay to win... i donno.. but everyone has quit... and the game i was hoping was going to be simply awesome.. which my friends would stick around ect ect ect but its NOT...

    edit;
come to think of it wasnt diablo 1 and 2 MUCH more sinister? i remember there being naked people skewered onto spikes.. blood and guts.. much more scary atmosphere.. now we throw fireworks at 5 different color of imps.. and the story line isnt adult content at all.. it feels PG13. i wanted to taste the pain of the people who were tortured in the worl.. i wanted to see the grotesque of demon like hellish areas. i wanted i much more realistic graphix engine.. not something that was deisgned 7 years ago then put on hold so they could take the designers off d3 for WOWC expansions.

the only parks of the game which arent too cartoony and pg trying to be adult content.. was when we kill grum or whatever.. that stinker boss in act3.. when he exploded on my screen for the first time and his guts sprayed all over the place and made a huge disgusting noise.. that was epic.

posted a message on DH or Barb for speed farming Act 3 MP0?
every class can have extremely fast movement at mp0
-wizards with critical mass can teleport from group to group. (isnt very reliable if things die to fast)
-barbarians sprint and WOTB (isnt very reliable at MP0 because things die to fast, u cant keep wrath up even with overpower momentum)
-DH with old nat set and vaulting with tactical advantage (most reliable movement) and nightstalker
-witch doctor the passive which resets cooldowns when enemies die near you.. so u can spirit walk 3 seconds from pack to pack
-monk i donno and honestly dont care. teleport with thunderclap i guess

overall DH is the fastest with legacy nat set
barbarian can be super quick too but relies on rage generation and dense packs... so its faster then the dh but when there isnt any mobs around and u loose WOTB ur gunna get passed by a dh...
wizards are faster then both if ur playing high MP levels and have super fast attack speed and crit.. and dont care if u kill the mobs but want to teleport from elite pack to elite pack ignoring normal mobs... but u loose out on normal legendary drops and xp
    i donno where monks stand

Vault of the Assassin (VoA). I've counted as many as 10 packs there before.

    7-12 packs.

However, they can be fairly annoying (especially Blazing Guardians with their insane fire damage). You don't want to "farm" their area on your own unless you have some decent fire res/allres... well, but it seems you all like to die a lot, so have fun there ;-)

the fire damage is mostly after they hit u with that fireball then it creates a fire DOT on the ground. just dont stand in fires

another great spot to farm is act2 assassin something, its in desolate sands. when u get ur mp level up find high density areas before hitting the key warden. act1 is festering woods.

getting ur net legendary drops up has a direct reflection to how fast u clear content. i'd focus on the class u enjoy playing the most, or a barbarian as they move around the fastest . gear out one character and level his paragon up. i wouldnt worry a cranking mp levels up too high if it slows ur kill speed. mp1 will net u more legendary per hour then playing at mp5 but taking a long time to kill stuff. killing almost everything is a good idea too as i get tons of drops from normal mobs, not just elites. as someone stated earlier alkaizer route is the highest density of mobs and champion packs.. fast XP and drops. look it up on youtube. when u get high enough mp u can throw in the key warden to it as well. wouldnt bother with key warder with mp1-2 though.

geez well done on that RNG haha. Even if they are crap, it's still nice to have one drop. To get that nice little feeling when you see that brownish text above the item before you pick it up! Plus the crap ones make good vendor or AH money!

i get legendary drops all the time.. and 9/10 times they are crap so i dont even get excited anymore until identify them... in fact i dont even identify them right away because my bags aren't usually full yet

people dont seem to realize that there is no such thing as true random in programming afaik

in regards to u saying that 2 identical items dropped within 15m of eachother.. there has been multiple video's on you tube with this showcased.. it is a known bug

all said i feel your pain though.. i did 8 key wardens last week mp4-mp7 with friends and guess what.. not ONE key.. also that same day i did mp7 uber bosses and killed 6 bosses.. and not a single organ till the 5th.. broken random is what it is.

if ur getting enrage timers then u need more dps.
i would def replace your belt and chest.. and maybe ur shield

    cheap upgrades

    chest:
    -3 sockets and some str

    belt:
    -250+ str

    shield:
    -250 str and 9 crit

of course u could just scrap shield all together and get a cheap weapon:
-socket and throw a cheap 90% crit damage gem
    -70+% crit damage
    -200+ str
-the dps doesnt even have to be that high as most ur damage is from ur main hand tornado's especially if ur offhand is a fast attack speed

also u can find really cheap trifector ammy and rings +attackspeed +critdamage +critchance

obviously u dont want to sacrifice to much life on hit, life steal, and all resistance.. so throw that in there as well where its affordable

There is less demand for bid items than buyout items, period. Therefore, you can get more for an item if you set a proper buyout than if you let people bid on them.

Of course, if you still insist on letting people bid on your item, at least list it Friday or Saturday noon so that it ends Saturday or Sunday evening/night. But really, you can just get so much more for an item if you just play with the buyout until it sells due to the higher demand for items that you can just buy now.

while this is true in many cases... if u time ur bids to expire on weekends during peak hours you"ll get the most bang for your buck. i had 400 million saved pre 1.05 and geared out my barbarian with that gold in a week. i attempted to bid for most of the items but during peak hours ppl over paid on bids. people actually payed close to buyouts on 40+ million items which were over priced.
