Well, you mean most people (like 80+ %) now are trying hard to beat Inferno?
I've spent like 10 mil at max on my Barb (WW) and i can handle all of the content. Even the hardest packs (though i die sometimes). And Blizz said that current difficulty is equal to MP 2-3. What on the Earth are you talking about then?
You completely missed the point. Just because you can do something doesn't mean it's effective to do it. You might be able to do MP2-3 but you'll most likely be much more effective at MP0-1. People can do MP10 quite easily nowadays, but I doubt even the #1 DPS on diabloprogress.com will farm MP10 efficiently. The rewards simply aren't enough for the added time required to clear it.

I wish they did make monster power a "if you can deal with the challenge of clearing it, then you should" (and of course make higher MP actually challenging and not the joke of waste-of-time mostly-HP-scaling it currently is). Then it would be all cool. Problem is the current scaling is not even close to being that way, which is what I really dislike about the MP system. Most people don't seem to realize that, or at least not yet. You are still going to be most effective farming monsters that are of absolutely 0 threat to you.

of course farming at really high mp difficulties isnt going to be more efficient. unless ur farming for hellfire rings. if they made the risk vs reward to good in favor of playing really high MP then the casual players would be in the same spot they were before the patch. i can farm MP10 for fun.. or i can farm MP4 at light speed only picking up legendary items, or spending all day identifying items, which isnt fun.

the whole goal of the MP was to make the gap between the elitest and the casual a lot more transparent. if putting it on MP10 gave u legendary items10 times more often then the elitist players would be way too far ahead of the curve to casual players. another thing about the patch is it also addressed elitists in that they can still find something to do and find a challenge.

i just dont understand the sentiment behind thinking rewarding casual players is a bad thing. without players the game dies. without players who are u going to group with? i feel like im reiterating this over and over but im gunna say it again anyways... there comes a time when u have pretty close to best in slot... what are u gunna do then? sometimes the need to have fun outweighs efficiency, and im at that point. with this new system i can also easily start gearing out my other 60's. I'm hoping my friends will come back because they all quit. that last point pisses me off more then anything else. the game was just so horrible when it was released most of my friends quit around when 1.04 started because they got fed up. anything to get them to come back sounds good to me.

ALSO: the fact u can quickly look up what ur items values are on the Auction house by using "find similar" was by far the best addition to the game.. because its ten times easy'r going through all the rares u have and finding out what they are worth. i despised 1.04 in that it was annoying selling shit and my bank tabs were always full because i was to lazy to sell shit. now its SOO MUCH BETTER

i can run all the way up to MP10 but its very hard... that said i play at mp4 because i can optimize for over 110k dps unbuffed.. which is much more efficient. at mp10 im at like 50k unbuffed dps... which sucks

The loh nerf isn't as big of a deal as the rage issue. When you get enough tornadoes going on a boss it's not going to kill you anyway unless it one shots you and you can switch to life leach at certain gear levels. I'm debating on getting the reduction to cc effect way up there, it seems the only time I die was due to Wotb being down and not able to whirl.

its better to have WOTB up all time rather then getting cc reductions
that said i find it very hard in 1.05 just because its so much more difficult to rage dump because WW costs less

    immortals set
    weapon master with mighty
    shout
    +24 movement speed

is enough to keep it up all the time
u can even keep it up while using a mace instead of a mighty weapon if u have immortals. ive tested it on single high HP targets.. getting sick of pumping sprint though... just need enough attack speed and crit

    another thing to note:

most people have multiple items for each slots, one for defensive purposes and one for dps ect ect....
i think that in general it will be better to go mostly offensive on a lower difficulty just to increase overall efficient farming.

    example:
while i may have some all resistance rings with good stats and damage mods
i will most likely not use it if i have a trifecta item with no all resistance. doing MP4 over MP6 for example.

another thing is, generally Ring Keepers and Bosses are much harder then elites for the given MP level... so u can always swap to the defensive rings or shield or whatever when encountering them. making things real easy.

Maybe they should fix all the stats. And have items drop off a fixed loot table on certain bosses.

And I was never really sold on the name "Diablo", I think "World of Warcraft" would be a much better name for it.

so having INT on mighty belts and STR on wizard hats is good? what i meant by fixed was removing all the useless stuff.

it seems to me u like identifying 1000 rares to find one good one?

someone posted stream give away where he did this. out of the 1000 only a few were not vendor trash. not to mention it took hours to do, because of transferring and identifying.

so sexton... ok dude!! btw FUCK WOWC

religion is just another form of out dated government. its the cause for hate crimes. it is the cause of war. it is the cause of subjugation. science is the answer to your questions, as its based off of fact. anything else is propaganda.

    atheist for the win

PS... if religion was never created. the world would be a much more peaceful place.

posted a message on Barbs w/ shields and Monster Power
the biggest road block to MP10 is resistance and then some sort of life replenish.

the problem with using a shield is u potentially loose 900 life on hit and 3% life steal as well as substantial attack speed (which in effect makes LOH and LS much better.

so u have a few options when thinking about whirlwind:
using a shield u get much more survivabilty, but your LOH will be largely nerfed due to slow attack speed, low DPS
using a belt, main hand, off hand with life steal at 9% coupled with 200k+dps
a mix of both LS and LOH with a fast offhand for maximum coefficient from tornadoes coupled with high dps
very high LOH on ur weapons sockets ammy's rings and low dps due to nerfed coefficient from tornado's

there ya go... btw u need very high resistance as well do too monsters attack being buffed.
regardless of what route u go, i think that using a shield is a good idea when doing uber bosses.

derp derp, because u wouldnt be Identifying as much, derp derp

and it would actually feel good ID'n stuff, because the chances of it being good would be much higher. . problem is 1/1000 rares are decent

posted a message on Two questions for players who vocally dislike the AH
you guys know the auction house would be 10 times better if they would add the option to shift click an item into the search field

THAT WAY IT WOULD BE EASY TO FIND THE VALUE

as it stand right now when im trying to sell shit its fucking annoying as shit, just to see if something is worth anything. i spend way to much time doing just that. not to mention having to leave a game to check or sell items on the auction house is sooo annoying.. so fucking bad

also 3 search fields for the first 2 months? wtf blizzard fail
the auction house GUI is complete garbage, and buggy

not only did blizzard make it seem like u HAVE to use the auction house. they made it painful to even use it

posted a message on Patch 1.0.5 Inferno MP 0 - 10 Hit Points Chart WIP
the problem with farming MP1 is that when u get over 100k dps everything instantly falls over dead, and as a barbarian ur rage starved... so in order to keep wrath up you generally dont want over 150k dps as it stand right now. that said if u could put mp lvl up to say 6'sh at 150k dps its much easyr and more rewarding

posted a message on Harder to sell items on RMAH now?
general trend for RMAH is when patch hits prices go up and lots of stuff sells. monday-thursday its much harder to sell, friday and sunday its pretty good, saturdays are the best. keep in mind if u want to sell on weekdays u'll have to underbid quite substantially.
