If you read the incgamers article you would not be saying that.
A guy who does news on a fansite and who just got done visiting Blizzard HQ reported that the console version is "all but done."
Dare I say that he has far better knowledge of this than you do? Because, frankly, he does. Unless you have some inside sources or something, I'm going to take his word at face value that the console version is winding up the development cycle and NOT diverting PC resources.
I'm not asking you to love Blizzard. I'm asking you to stop being ********** and throwing FACTS the fuck out the window because they're inconvenient to your "THE CONSOLE IS TAKING OVER" position.

Don't use math on trolls. You'll just confuse them.

As for dying because you tried to walk away but kept attacking instead, as somebody above said, bind a key to force movement. It's in your options and it's unbound by start. I use "x" since it's where my thumb naturally rests when my ring finger is on tab for the map and middle and index finger are on 1 and 2 for most-used spells. If you bind shift to force attack your thumb can very easily between the two.
But that's just what I use - find something that works and these sorts of deaths will be a thing of the past.

This. Adria and Leah may or may not tie in, but I think we will have to defeat Imperius eventually.

I would like to go against the trend by starting a thread about how much I love Diablo 3. Sure the servers have been unstable, the AH has been buggy as hell, the RMAH keeps getting pushed back, and many things are different from both Diablo 2 and WoW. But you know what? I am still enjoying the shit out of this game, and expect I will be for a long time to come.
Flame away, haters.
EDIT: Fail math corrected.

What does "bonus affixes" mean?
EDIT: I might have figured it out - does it just mean the number of random affixes you get after counting the guaranteed ones?

It's not like Blizzard had told us ahead of time that this feat of strength was coming, so if somebody happened to not log in at all that day, they missed out on earning it and the pet that came with it. It was a random award for something people had very little control over seeing as how they didn't know about it in advance. No, the comparison between that and this beta feat of strength is not 100% valid, but it's a similar idea. Feats of strength and rewards that come with them often have a random element that can't be avoided.
Deal with it.

If your character speaks to an NPC, the character's name shows up in the dialog box. That is fully consistent with being immersed in the RPG, since the CHARACTER is the one speaking, so the CHARACTER name shows up.
If you type "Hold on, afk one sec" in party chat, it is not your character that says that. YOU are saying that. So it makes sense that your battletag shows up in the text box.
I'm going to stop posting in this thread now, because obviously those that are super pissed off about something as insignificant as this are not going to be convinced by me or anybody else that it's not a big deal. Haters are going to hate, whiners are going to whine, and crybabies are going to cry. By all means, continue working yourselves up and convincing yourself Blizzard is full of a bunch of lying assholes because they have implemented a system that improves over a lot of the problems earlier games like D2 had regarding character and account names.

Having friends not in the game start whispering you doesn't break it? Having small little quill fiends drop giant shields, two-handed swords, armor plates, etc. doesn't break it? Giant yellow question marks appearing above the heads of people who want to talk to you doesn't break it? Giant flashes of yellow light each time you gain a level doesn't break it? The whole concept of "gaining a level" doesn't break it?
