Not likely, since they're both owned by the same parent company, and have been rolled together in the same subsidiary by that parent company.Quote from CataleptInteresting, though, that Activision made an operating loss this quarter, while Blizzard is still chugging along in the black. Wouldn't surprise me if they cut themselves loose soon... they've got their own distribution channel now, they can't be getting much benefit from the relationship.

I don't care if there are panda sigils. I would care though if they made me buy MoP CE to get D3 wings. It's a relief to hear they're probably not related.
There's stuff in WoW from SC2 that you had to go to Blizzcon for, so...it's just marketing. -

This is just reminding you that there are going to be heaps of people who do struggle with Normal difficulty. Don't assume that everyone is in their mid 20-30s and has played all kinds of games for the last 10-20 years of their life. There will be people who breeze through normal in 30 minutes (maybe?), then people who will literally take weeks. Nothing contradictory there.
There will be people who find Skeleton King challenging. I didn't, but, I played D1 and D2 a LOT, not to mention the last 7 years of MMO raiding. I can move and react, though I'm no twitch FPS player. I think about what skills will work best in a situation etc.
Some people here react to the fact that it's made for people other than themselves by saying "Well, those people need to get better or not play, because I want difficulty set for ME!!" That's not an answer Blizzard is going to listen to. They want to sell the game to everyone, not just *you*, whoever you and your friends are. It just varies how far into the game you'll go before finding it difficult. Some in Normal, some in Inferno, lots in between somewhere.
Also, some don't find 'horribly difficult' fun, and may play for years in Normal. I know people who almost never left Normal in D2. They found it fun. You might not, but that's ok. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Yeah, doesn't matter how much stress test they do, they still have to draw the line somewhere between buying so much hardware that half of it's wasted after launch day, and having a halfway decent launch. I'm in, just waiting on char creation. It'll be ok.

Character names are only unique within your account, so, yeah, you can get whatever you want.

I logged in on my comp at 2 AM straight up, and the authent completed at 2:01 after I did the agreements.

Yeah, that may take a while, but we're past the authentication hurdle.

He looks more active than Andariel was by far. I used to just clear the trash, then pull Andariel out the door and beat her up, or just shoot through the door till she died otherwise. No, he looks much more fun/engaging than Andariel.
Edit: Again, it's normal, difficulty is for people who are new to the genre and the game. The player in the video knew what (s)he was doing.

It's Normal Act I, not Hell or Inferno...

I think the downloaded version will require a license on Bnet (key) to unencrypt and install. My key is already there (AP/Digital), so I'll be able to install on the 14th, and log in and play at 12:01 AM PDT on the 15th.

Yeah, those are LED screens. I have a 24" LCD I've had for 3 years, and it still works great.

If you hit exit now and don't wait for the 10 seconds, your character is still connected for 10 sec or so, and can die.

And that's the key thing. Trying a build you think will be fine, but you get to Inferno and it fails, you can tweak it w/o rerolling. That's a HUGE improvement in my book. Also, using some skill combos might be really fun in NM/Hell that you might know wouldn't work in Inferno. Fun is where you find it.

+10. So true.
DH - Dat ass
Monk - cute, short blonde hair, doesn't wear much
Wizard - confident brunette, doesn't wear much
Barb - will break you in half, but fun
WD - exotic!
Not necessarily in that order. I picked Wizard, but, they all have their appeal.
(I should mention that I'm married to a 5'11" woman, so I don't mind a big girl, as long as she's not nasty fat or something. Big != fat.)
Yeah, wondering if the team that drew male belfs did him...
