Can someone report the following bug:
When using Furious Charge through Deranged Fallen, the Deranged Fallen is dragged along with the Barbarian to the end point resulting in insta-death.
It's the most frustrating bullshit ever. Any other monster just gets popped up into the air. These exploding [explicit]s get dragged to your end point and it's an insta-kill. Seeing how it's one of the few ways to escape them it's really getting annoying.
The barbarian in that video was constantly mashing his revenge button and constantly going below 20% hp. I don't call that survivability. Had one of those revenges not gone off, he would have been done.
If you run from Halls of Agony lvl.2 to the Butcher, you should encounter atleast 5 elite packs on the way to get max stacks of NV before you kill him. That's what I did (over and over and over) to get me gear and gold to be able to survive in A2.
Also, does swapping to MF gear right before the boss dies actually work? Or is the loot rolled the moment the boss/mob "spawns" so that it would be the other way around, ie equipping MF gear before the fight and switching back to normal asap and kill him?
That's what I've been doing. Just haven't had much luck it seems...
I don't know about the MF thing. I've seen a bunch of videos of people swapping gear though
Where has everyone found the best spots in Act 1 Inferno to farm?
Butcher?
Skeleton King?
Other?
Also, is everyone swapping to mf sets before kills? I've seen a lot of videos of people doing this.
I'm currently finally able to farm butcher easily, but I'm really not getting any good drops and I don't yet have the gear to progress into act 2 as a Barbarian. Let me know what you think is the best spot.
Revenge is all but worthless in Inferno. That 5% heal doesn't do anything unless there are 20 mobs around you. You HAVE to take provocation if you expect the skill to be worthwhile (^chance to proc) so no you won't have the 8% heal.
I definitely think that they need to rework the skill based on damage or some other factor and not on number of mobs hit. Barbarian is supposed to be an "in your face" character that can get into melee range and actually put up a good fight. Not so when I have to run around in circles like a little girl kiting in Inferno. My only saving grace in Inferno so far has been that I have a DH friend to play with that is able to kill the stuff when I have to run away.
Skill needs to be changed or life leech needs to be more useful for melee classes imo. I'm not really TOO concerned yet though, since I'm only a few days into inferno and I'm still excited to see how it pans out.
I agree there, you GOT to have the provocation rune if its to be worthwile, but I find it extremly usefull seeing as with as little as 4 mobs arround you, you heal 20% of your maximum life.
Currently trying to stack life leech aswell, stuck on 9,2% tho (with the 3% passive) not enough to survive aswell as I would like, but it helps abit.

I've found Seismic Slam to be VERY helpful in splitting up packs and picking apart one mob at a time w/o the need of revenge. Elite and champion packs... they're a different story all together...

I intentionally try to trigger the traps in act 2 and 3 to explode just as my friends are walking by not paying any attention. Get a good laugh out of it every time haha
I'm not really laughing, since I'm sure some people will buy this crap. I reported both videos as scams. I really hope that people with blatant lies in their advertisements at the very least will not profit this early. The game isn't even out yet.

The sad thing is there are actually people out there that are retarded and will buy into this guy.
Quick story - I had a conversation with my father the other day about "who the hell is dumb enough to fall for viruses, dupes, etc?"
His gf is pretty uneducated and he told me people like her... that her computer is unusable atm because she clicks on anything that promises coupons, free stuff, etc. It has so many viruses that she can't evens start it up. It made me remember that I'm well educated but that there ARE people out there that are very uneducated and actually believe this sort of garbage. So the sad part is, this guy will actually probably do well with his scamming tactics.
