    I played 20 mins the other day and found 3x ilvl 63 items in Act2 that I sold for 6mil+

    Played an hour later for about an hour and couldn't find a single item ilvl 61+

    The problem I see with those opposing the original proposition is that you are not taking into account the decreased drop rate that we are asking for.

    We're not asking for "OMG I WANT ALL LVL 60 ITEMS AND 10 OF THEM TO DROP ON EACH ELITE PACK LIKE RIGHT NOW!!! I WANT FREE ITEMSSSSSSSS"

    We are asking for "wow, it sure would be nice to have items appropriate for my level, even if champ packs only dropped 3 items it would be better than the current system"


    I could even suffice with my post on the 1st page, where ilvl 55-59 items still drop, but to a lesser degree with each act. Cut out the ilvl 51-54. It's garbage and not meant for "endgame"

    Get an authenticator if you don't have one. It's 100% necessary with battle.net accounts.


    I had the most random password ever and 8 months ago my unsubscribed WoW account was hacked and used to mine and sell ore. I got all of my items restored and had the chance to say hi to some old friends. After that, I got an authenticator for my phone and will always have one now.

    If I'm reading this correctly, I have had this happen many times since 1.03.

    I will be using frenzy on a bunch of enemies and quickly spam furious charge because I am about to die. The ability will not go off when I know I cast it in plenty of time and I will die.

    If you just have 60-63 then you're gonna have a lot of high-dollar items flooding in, effectively lowering all the values of these items. Though, no matter how you do it, if you increase the drop rate of good items the value is going to drop.

    I'm sure Blizzard will come up with a more elegant solution. They always seem to bring something out of nowhere that's better than anything I come up with.

    Exactly. I think this is a concern that we should share with Blizzard after seeing some more votes. At the very least, I would like to see an answer regarding why it is the way it is. If there is such a reasoning my guess is that it has something to do with the economy, but being the end-game content, I truly dislike finding ilvl 51-59 items as the majority of the items I find.

    Which would you prefer? I posted the following on the front page thread, but I find that those posts tend not to get much discussion.

    What I don't understand is why INFERNO is dropping ilvl 51-59 items. I'd rather have LESS items drop off of champions that are of greater ilvl. For the sake of legendaries with ilvl 58-59, bump them up to ilvl 60 so they are viable in endgame (or have some sort of special code that allows lower level legendaries to still drop - I don't know programming, maybe this isn't possible).


    A1 - mostly ilvl 60 items with incremental chance for ilvl 61, 62, 63
    A2 - mostly ilvl 60, 61 items with incremental chance for ilvl 62, 63
    A3/4 - mostly ilvl 60, 61, 62 items with incremental chance for ilvl 63
    Incremental chance being the 2/4/8% that blizzard has recently implemented.

    THAT is how I envision inferno drops should be... or something close at least. None of this sub-60 garbage

    Add your 2c. I'm really interested to see what people think - would this cause unintended consequences that might ruin the economy? How might this change influence the game for the better or worse?


    Edit: Here is another option, still including ilvl 55-59 items

    Storm68, your stats and original spec are fine - just need to adjust playstyle. When you run into an arcane pack, you can't just stand in them and smash face. Kite and avoid until they have placed a few orbs and you are away from them > wotb > profit. When you wotb, be mindful to move a bit to keep an eye for more arcane sentries.

    Nightmare + Arcane atm is VERY frustrating thanks to the bug where arcane can fear you indefinitely. On those I will use my original kiting as best as possible and then go absolutely balls to the wall on them when I can get them away (wotb breaks/ignores cc from nightmarish)

    Waller also makes an arcane pack difficult - this is somewhere where leap attack might be > furious charge. Proper kiting and a descent wall spawn and you'll be fine with furious charge, though.


    btw here are my stats (with war cry/battle rage) and I'm fine in A2
    31846 hp
    525-634 resists
    22647.97 dps
    17% crit chance :(
    121% crit damage
    1372 str
    902 vit
    201 mf (no nv)
    1034 LoH
    dual wielding 800 & 650 dps weapons

    Hope this helps.

    Edit: your hp is pretty low at 25k - try to get in the low-mid 30k range. A great way to do this is to buy weapons with +vit. My offhand has +300 vit :D
