F&F and closed beta are the same thing content-wise (meaning up to Skeleton King) and NDA-wise (meaning there isn't one), although we may be patching in some content as we go
Look at that last bit he says. That makes me pretty excited; I was hoping the beta would include a bit more (for both their benefit/bug-fixing and of course our fun/bug-testing). It just may be so...
Edit: And in keeping sheer numbers of people it may be important to add more content. Only 13 levels means people will probably quit quickly.
Meh then they should add Uniques on top of legendaries. The great thing about Unique items was you knew what you were getting and thus you strived to get/trade for them. Although I guess with the AH you'll be able to find anything you want.
Not a big deal I guess but I prefer set affixes for unique/legendaries.

1. Leveling may have lost its 'magic' because you don't have the excitement of choosing stats/skills (even if the old system was broken). Runes may remedy this...
2. I'll probably be turning on everything.
3. It looks like the next Diablo should look.
4. Level of investment/customization in a single character... and also the small size of the beta means lots of bugs come december.

It's probably because he is in fact considered press even though he was invited to the F&F. He has a huge following and letting him stream would most likely upset some of the "real" press.
At least, that's how I understood it. I wont say I agree, but I guess it kind of makes sense in a way.

Very nice. What I like is that both ground stomp and leap attacks generate fury. maybe we don't need a normal attack later on. I mean if we were to use it, wouldn't it mean that we have to sacrifice 1 skill for the normal attack?
Cuz what I see is 1-4 skillbars + potion and mouse1+2 also for skills.
I think in Diablo 2 it was normal once you were high enough level, you didn't have your normal attack even on anymore. Either way, I really like how they have it configured with a spellbar PLUS 2 mouse-spells.
Yeah don't worry about it. Ignoring all other reasons why they wouldn't make some form of blacklist (lol), THEY made the beta available and have NOT taken it down to the public.
Yo can you guys who are new to Diablofans please figure out how to embed it properly (or at all). It's fun reading through them all I just wish I didn't have to click through on half of them.
The arguments in this thread remind me of the ones we had on sc2mapster about the map marketplace.
There's a large group of people really not happy about money getting involved in Blizz games (after the initial purchase or subscription). But to me, it's Blizz staying in the 'game' and pleasing investors while still being very good to its fan base (WE can make money on the RMAH and WE can make money on the map marketplace).

I was talking with Sixen how these could have been leaked... here's one theory I had:
Blizz probably was uploading them privately, but then because of maintenance on youtube, couldn't set them to private until maintenance was done and somebody ripped them during this time.
... I had this happen to me with a mapping tutorial.

Hmm beta that only goes to level 13... tooltip that would be negative if there were 60 levels... are you thinking what I'm thinking????
The real game is only 13 levels!!! Blizz is going to troll us all come December.
