    1. By travelling faster than light, time goes backwards. This would break cause and effect. A man could die before they were born. Diablo III could be released before it was developed and so forth.

Now you've got me interested. Flying to CERN right now to get this research going.

It does seem weird but I like that casters have to worry more about their weapons now.

I'm just happy followers aren't essential. I never liked having to deal with an AI helper... prefer to just have one main guy. If they don't last past normal I won't be complaining.

    You!!

Hmm yeah although it's not 100% gambling. Are real-world auction houses considered gambling? That's basically what it is so yeah.

This is a hard subject to say what the right path is. To me, it was always fun testing the limits to how much MF I can get before I become to weak. I loved stacking MF and it was one of the things that made diablo 2 more fun, but now that it does only effect me and not others, I can indeed see this being an issue to some.

This is one of the topics I really cant say what I think one way or the other.

posted a message on Unique Character Names?
    Quote from brimg

I believe that your account name will be visible to players looking to join your game / in your game, so that your identity can remain constant without needing to name all your characters the same. Plus the banners, yo.

Unique names have great benefits, but the fact is the community is much larger then the number of good names. A friends list exists so you can find players you liked again.

By account name do you mean RealID? I wonder how people would feel about that. Or do we have an account on top of our characters?

Also, I wanted to note that the funniest thing back on the D3 post about this was the people advocating for non-unique names had the most random names like xXCowKillzorzXx... I was thinking: why the heck do you want non-unique names if you chose that.

What are your guys' thoughts on the naming system being like Starcraft 2's? (ie you can make as many of the same name as you want and it'll have a hidden number attached to it). I know there was a post by Bashiok that they are still looking into the best possible direction... and I wasn't going to make this thread until I saw 2 things today:

    1. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/3196019654
Regarding the AH: "I have 8 characters named SpinDrJr. This makes it easy for people to identify me when I join their game, but it does not make it easy for me to choose which character to browse for gear on. It would be great if we had some indication on the class of character in that list."

    2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ab3Akryrnhc
Around 10s in, he chooses his character and you see 5 of the same names.

This isn't feedback about the AH (though those 2 examples are related to it). I am discussing the game as a whole. From what I see here, people are just choosing the same name for their heroes (freak chance? or common?... I wonder?)

In Diablo 2 you had your Bnet account and your character names which were BOTH individually unique to your region. I think the community as a whole would not go back to that (based on the long thread on the blizz forums... and the fact that your 'wanted' name will be gone in 1 hour of release).

However, I don't really know what to think of the current system. In SC2 you just had your RealID and then account name. Here we have RealID and then 5+ character names which can all be the same...

Yeah I'd like MF with diminishing returns shown so we know exactly.

Also, like the OP said on bnet forums, all spell dmg would be nice. Casters don't need to see wand damage.

Yea, when I hit windows key and tab I see the desktop then the internet window and other windows I have open. When I record, does it automatically do it at a default setting like 320p or do I choose so I can record at 1080p?

It does it at w/e your desktop res is. If your screen is 1920x1080 or 1680x1050 etc it'll record in that resolution. Granted, later you may want to use an editing tool to cut out your task bar. As well, like I said the Fraps files are gigs so you'll use something to re-encode like Windows Movie Maker.
