I liked the difficulty ramp we had in D2 but I can understand some kind of characters had more troubles with immune and/or some kind of nasty aura/skill combo in Hell.
Mostly this affected single players (i played mainly sp) so could be a good idea tho fix this problem.
But I still loved the game and rarely had to exit and reload to avoid a peculiar enemy.
I was also used to die often

Jun 30, 2008pikke posted a message on Diablo III OverviewI hope this one to be out asap but just time will tell the tale.Posted in: News
About the number of characters it seems to me that in the gameplay video the voice says "one of several classes" and not "one of five classes" which let me think they may be more than five.
obviously being italian and having just a grasp on english I'can be wrong. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

I may understand who says the skill is not "diabloish" but still a bit of innovation is good in a game.

the strenght of it may depend on how many corpse wd can put his hands on. (apart from level, obviously)

This convinced Blizzard that they may need a different game in case SC2 was not a success (which I hope not) and this is the real reason we have D3 under development now!
ok, I'm a fool!
now back on topic: since heaven & Hell lies in different dimensional plane, the comet/meteor may come from each of them. It may be a spell cast both by one of the demons or the angels.
I think we can just speculate on it with the little we know now.

More to be said, many people will notice best players using a definite character build wearing a definite character setup and will try to achieve the same.
Mimicking is a natural human behaviour.
But, from the little we have seen so far, seems Blizzard is going to give us the chance to have many different approach and I'm looking forward to explore all of them.
That's one of the funniest thing in the game

Then we will have Starcraft at Xmas 2009, then Blizzcon 2010 and eventually D3 at Xmas 2010.
Smooth timetable, imo.

Obviously in SP mode, which would be my case

otherwise would be too easy.
I hope we still can use the "\players X" command line, too.

Let's hope we have a confirm at blizzcon (or just a hint...)

Well, a new monster or something like that would be nice.
For a new classes we should wait blizzcon

And I will not rest soundly till I'd get my hands on the box!

WASD would be harder to use if they are going to let us use the same key group of the previous version (which I honestly dunno)
From the videos seems like the game controls/camera works the same way of Diablo2 and I like it that way .
Time will tell the tale.

thinking about e-commerce (just to mention legit solution) seems just a stupid law.
Maybe the name-change is referred to the german law but, if a name change is enough to bypass a law, well, it's a very stupid law.
I think if blizz introduced the character as Wizard, it will be Wizard in the end.
In italian wizard and sorceress means quite the same thing, maybe they'll try "mother-in-law" instead?

But talking about dreaming and just for multiplayer.....I'd like to have all the Prime Evils togheter.
Maybe this could be a triggered event.
A bunch of heroes against the top brass!
That would be a fight

If druids will be in D3 I hope they will be more enjoyable for me.
Necro will be difficult to see, WD is a similar character which I'm quite sure will be my first character.
