Sep 22, 2010ErU posted a message on Level 60 capPosted in: NewsQuote from italofoca
For me this is awesome news. A level 60 cap means they can add extra levels in expansions, wich is a feature that i particulary love in wow and any other rpg.
Very sweet news.
Meaning that they didn't reduced to 60 because they were having problems with it, they want to make more money by releasing lame ass downloadable (must-buy) content to raise the cap and rip people off.
I have this strange, strange feeling that D3 is not going to live up to diablo's name(in other words, FAIL). And this is the kind of news that just enforces that.. -

What are Blizzard plans regarding the current battle.net channel?
Why?
As all of you know, Diablo is a fast-paced, click and go carnificine, but, besides that, it also has a very deep economy and trade system, and this trade system is based entirely in the Battle.net channels. Looking for a iK armor? Go to Trade-useast, Found an eaglehorn and not going to keep it, you now where to go.
The trading channel is a reference when it comes down to trading, but it has one major problem.. it's hella confusing, 40 people with all kind of diferent and huge names doing they're propaganda, and when that dual leech/pris ring you was looking for catches your eye you waste 9385393 minutes trying to look for the guy, or, you try to msg him... but /pm l33Tz_arrrVzszs02324 can take too long.... long enough for him to quit battle.net, to trade with someone else, to whatever.
If i had a soj for each deal i missed because when i finally got to msg the guy his response was ''sry, just sold it''... oh well, you've got the idea.
The battle.net channel needs a re-vamp, it needs to be fast, easy to use, and user friendly. So, Blizzard, what are the current plans? - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Interesting... diablo soul corrupted tyrael(which was weak after the worldstone exploded), so now tyrael(aka diablo) is trying at all costs to revive diablo. Holy fucking shit tyrael is the final bosss!!1one

Barbarians live at Mt. arreat(home of the worldstone), that alone was enough to get em a ticket to D3.

This is bs, just keep an eye in the boss life and get close when hes moribund, every sorc/zon i've played with did this, i did this, and i bet you do this.

This was already used in D2, long before xpac there was a time when 4-5 Pskulls = 1 soj
Soj was still a reference, but skulls where also valuable.
I do want D3 currency to be item based, but D2 soj market(which comes waay back to patch 1.02) was made by dupes. I doubt blizz want another D2 market(dupes), so the game currency will probably be gold.
ps: I just hope they dont make stupid ''bind when picked up/used'' gear.

This is Diablo, i assume the risk of being ninja'd if i can do the same... the frustation/rewarding feeling is what make the loot system in D2 quite unique. I dont care if they want the loot to be individual for bosses as long they still drop shit when they die... the individual loot would be some sort of consolation prize ''weel.. i didnt got that super swrd of mass destruction, but i still got this tiny chip topaz''.

That would ruin the game... this is diablo, the only safe place is offline. I do agree with the arena and betting but diablo is about killing other people!!! I can still remember the shivers of when the hostile ring sounded in a HC game.
They can and should implement some sort of honor system, much like WoW, you kill people outside the arena and you get negative honor (which give you access to some sort of item, gold, whatever), you kill someone with negative honor and you get other type of rewards.

The only improvement in gameplay (as released till now) is the destructable parts of the environment, which opens a whole new world of possibilities when fighting bosses. But i would still buy a collectors edition.
Cant wait to see pvp.

On the other side i cant imagine diablo without a elemental caster(sorc), a ranged class(zon), and a warrior of light(paladin), strange huh?
Well...blizzard managed to keep this a secret for 4 years, i'm sure i will not be disappointed.
