Hmm yeah I think I'll rent Borderlands first to try it, but I really want to try out Dragon Age and Resident Evil 5, I'm a big Resident Evil fan and have played all of them. I played the hell out of Demon Soul's, it was awesome, and I have CoD: MW2, add me if you want to get pwned. I ended up getting Oblivion: The complete set, it was brand new for 20 bucks....but I'm going to get another game, just got that until I figure out a good one to get, but thanks for all the suggestions and keep em coming!
Demon's Soul if you are into hardcore, you build you char and then hack and slash you way to become the best, just like in D2. check out trailers on youtube or some thing i just got it, and i makes me cry alot but its still fun. and the levels are loooooong.

A friend of mine plays it too. He said it's actually a bit challenging at times and is a nice change of pace in that respect. I watched him play for a few minutes. It didn't seem amazing but still decent.
Yeah true it's not a "OH MY GOSH!" game, but still something to kill the time whit, and it's good training for my hardcore skills so i dont die in diablo 3 if it will have hc mode that is.
Borderlands is an awesome game, that doesn't get bordered.
Yes it does, Borderlands is a terrible game, I hate the controls, the cel shading doesn't work for me in this game (but it does in others.) The characters blow chunks, and the actual shooting in this FPS leaves much to be desired.
Borderlands got boring after you find the "vault." I'm sorry but i only need D3 or SC2 to satisfy my cravings. Dragon Age was good for a few weeks until i went back to playing Tribes 2 and old DOS games..
Actually Borderlands never gets boring, with the expansions and the level cap increase coming up. If you don't like it... you have no input here, cuz youve obviously got some issues than need worked out.
Dragon Age
Oblivion
Call of Duty: World at War
Call of Duty: ModernWarefare 2
Demon Souls
Runescape (Yes I know don't comment)
Dungeons and Dragons (Play with my dad)
Some good games and then some people wouldn't suggest. It's all up to the person really.

The only game thats ever captivated me as much as d1/d2 is dota and iv been playing it since sa had death ward, over 6 years. Then with the release of Heroes Of Newerth beta, wich is a very inventive port onto the sacred engine iv moved on and never looked back. You couldnt pick a better time to learn how to play one of the greatest rts' ever and hands down the strongest co-operative rts ever. With a online system that includes rankings, major leaver penalties and server side game hosting, all the big fallbacks of dota are gone.
The game is nearing its release so if you cant get your hands on a beta key, you can purchase one for $20 that will still be active once the game goes live. A word of caution however, it takes a long, long time to master even the most basics of this game so if your a slow learner, dont like hundreds of hours of researching tactics and watching replays or just generally not in for the long haul dont bother.

LOL.
1 The story line is probably the worst ive experianced and I beat the entire game and expansions in NO TIME AT ALL!!
2 Online play is pretty much unplayable unless you use third party software
3 BUGS everywhere!
4 Inventory is small
5 Replay value is terrid with class specifications NOT that useful
6 I reached max level before I realized it..
7 Who are u? I have input here thank you very much
I would recommend Borderlands if you want to play something for a month or 2 with your friends. But other than that, don't waste the 50 bucks.
I suggest Dragon Age Orgins if your looking for something that is in depth and different

Well it seems that Boarderland is for Microsoft Windows altso, so never mind
If you like horror-games, Resident Evil series is nice on Ps2 and Ps3 (I guess, I dont have an Ps3).
the originals kick ass... I mean resident evil 2 and 3 here ;P
And for the real "shit in the pants" horror I suggest the first Silent Hill. If you wanna go curl in the corner of your room... play it, it's frightenly good.
He did not just say that, and obviously you just played the first five minutes if the game, or else half your reasons wouldn't be there, and the others are purely based on opinion. Plus borderlands is very and I mean very similar to diablo, so when you rip on border, you rip on diablo.

I regret trading that game in so much, I might pick it up at gamestop or EBay or something because FUCK! I have the itch
I'd stick with renting games for now..I really can't see anything worth buying for the console at this moment but then again it depends on how stingy with money you are.
