Feb 19, 2010Bul'Kathos posted a message on Crafting in Diablo IIIGreat post, Seth. I used the cube for all the reasons that have been stated and found it very useful as most did. For Diablo 3, I hope that the crafting system will create an endless amount of possibilities for new items and also to be a great tool to better your questing, to assist in overcoming whatever is blocking your battle path(dealing with immunities and whatnot.) I think it would be a lot of fun if there were pieces of ore, or some material, that were scattered throughout Sanctuary that were rare for some of the higher quality ones and others not so much and you gathered them and crafted special armour or weaponry. I find this to be a rather rewarding system and should only be able to be crafted at higher levels. And with that last sentence being said, I wonder if there will be a "crafting level" system, where the more you craft you become better at it and can create more powerful items, or if there is some skill you train for it.Posted in: News

Feb 6, 2010Bul'Kathos posted a message on Properly Proportioned PauldronsI think 7ft. tall is fitting for a barbarian race who do nothing but battle and their survival depends on it. Wouldn't by nature and evolution make them this way after being nearly ancient beings?Posted in: News
And yes I like the way they have tightened things up, lookin' good! -

Yeah the game itself isn't really a challenge, but trying to finish the game without dying is.

Haha, yeah I remeber the days playing with plastic and styrofoam swords.
Well we weren't talking about using them(but I practice with them), but you can of course...just be careful because they are very sharp lol. I know some renaissance festivals have competitions of sword fighting and jousting and there are plenty of club warrior games and medieval reenactments you can join to partake in hitting eachother, but unless you have armor you would be using a dulled reproduction sword or a "soft" sword/weapon.

Yeah I've always preferred the heavier swords because the weight feels better in my hands and I like using two hands controlling, instead of one. What city was the festival in?
