Well Link, I call you Link anyways usually, but that name is taken by some guy that's been inactive and never posted. So you'll have to stick to LinkX which I like more by now anyways.
The spoiler contains the effects that Charon's Claw can do.
Charon's Claw gauntlet can absorb any magic directed at it's wearer and can continue to do so until the wearer decides to unleash all that stored magic back at an enemy. The sword part requires the gauntlet to wear it, unless you have a stong enough will to overpower the sword, in which case you can use the sword without the gauntlet. Artemis Entreri and Grandmaster Kane are the only two to master that sword. Which can do all sorts of shade-like things like creating curtains of ash to block the view of others. I think it can open portals to the shadow realm as well, if I remember correctly. Artemis killed a dracolich using Charon's Claw. The vampiric dagger takes the targets essence and gives it to the wielder, this is how Artemis becomes part shade, because he used it on a shade at one point. One touch of the dagger, one scratch is all it takes to use the vampiric magic to suck out the soul.
Grandmaster Kane was the one who used the fake gaunlets Entreri placed and got burned to death?
Lets say that Entreri somehow managed to open a portal to Sithicus asuming that Soth is still there. Approaching the castle for Artemis would be a simple task and ultimately finding Soth in a great hall of some sort. If they were to engage in a duel, Lord Soth would probably underestimate the human's abilities and will remain seated or standing still, maybe even allow the human to strike at him first. What could happen to the death knight from this vampiric magic? It has no soul to suck out am i correct?
We really should create a seperate thread for these kind of discussions, that way we don't need spoilers.
Entreri got Charon's Claw from some wealthy merchant. The magic would take the animating force that is Soth and kind of turn Artemis into undeath with soth being a pile of rotted flesh and bones. That's a sacrifice Entreri will not likely make, but will make if there's no way out. It's how he became part shade. I won't throw a psionic drow into the equation who would make Entreri impervious to all attacks and then he could just touch a target and everything that should of happened to Artemis, would happen to the person he touches. Same thing happens when he fought Drizzt to the death.
Well by that logic Soth does not stand a chance since he is not the most agile of warriors
But still he's a super villian and he just cant die!
What other cool 1v1's can we debate? Daemaro's posts about the super man vs goku were awesome xD
Maybe we should have a new thread for the purpose of these debates
If I remember correctly, I had spoken to one of the admins about getting it changed to Link way back, and they said that because the user of Link never used the account, they could delete it.
I just don't remember for the life of me who I was talking to...
Gromph should be able to beat Szass Tam one on one but its really not how The Lich would plan it out. Szass can send many minions to do his biddings but Gromph's Diviner and archmage powers can oveercome hordes of undead creatures... Magic power wise, Gromph is stronger.
I am not familiar with the Eragon series at all so sorry... I'd say Karasendrieth xD

Oh and i think Ironman kicks Batman's butt.
I believe Gromph would win as he does have more experience and deals with Drow intrigue and their plots and counter-plots and counter-counter-plots and all that good shit.
Saphira would have a bit of an edge against Karasendrieth. Though of course, Kara won't go down easy.
Ironman is definitely a winner as everything Batman has would just bounce off him.

Another noisy picture of this windswept flatland that I call home. Shot late in the evening, handheld too!
lol Trombone did u crop the northstar and the moon in there?
it looks fake lol
i cant trust your photos anymore lol
kidding
Looking at the pic almost makes me forget about D3 lol. Also makes me wish I lived somewhere a little warmer, Alaska's cool, but it's pretty cold and lifeless for 8 months out of the year if you don't own a snowmachine =)
snaks wanna swap locations, you come to dublin, ireland ill go to alaska
to many people live here, isolation sounds good to me
and trombone forgot to say, another good photo, seriously dude take up a photogarphy class ( cant remember if you said you tried it once)
you might meet the perfect woman and have a whole new career ahead of you
Lol that's probably one of the biggest reasons I still live here, isolation. I'm in Wasilla, it's like a little town 35 miles from the only city Alaska is known for; Anchorage. It's defiantly small, I think maybe a couple thousand at most. Almost zero gang activity though as well, I can still walk around at 3am without thinking twice. And it is really beautiful during the summer, gets around 70-80F average. I know that sounds cold to a lot of people, but I think I'm weird in this department. I really don't like super -20F cold (average winter lol) But I really like it when it's got the slightest chill in the summer. Going off topic here, but I've been in way hot 100F +, and honestly it almost feels like I'm dreaming. I can't really describe it, but having the slightest chill in the air (while still being able to wear shorts and a T shirt) makes me feel more grounded in reality. Strange I know, but I've never really tried to explain it to anyone before.
I missed your post, but I was uber-busy getting caught up for work the week before and in Austin Texas for 2 days last week and dead tired the day after I got back.
So a belated congratulations
...and then today Daemaro swooped in on his angelic wings like Tyrael and gave me the good news too restoring my faith in humanity!
Anybody else want a say?
Also, I can't decide if I like my Tauren or my Blood Elf paladin more...
I should just make a priest...might do that... Shadow priest forsaken ftw.
Lol.

Edit: Fail typo....
Editx2:
Ironman vs Batman. GO!
Karasendrieth vs. Saphira (Add Dorn Graybrook for Kara if Eragon is riding Saphira.)
I am not familiar with the Eragon series at all so sorry... I'd say Karasendrieth xD

Never thought this would happen.
Edit:
Seeing that it's gonna take some time to download, I may not get to play until tomorrow night.
No one cares
Edit: Also, true story
I hate the way you cling to ignorance and pass it off as innocence
That's still a nice shot, impressive that considering it was handheld.
Congratulations to both of you!
