Dude, he was completely bald, hunched on a staff, and had a full white beard in Diablo I.
hmm, bald alright...hunched on a staff...no...full white beard kinda...i think i was partially right and for the most part, he's a lot more fit in diablo I than he was in diablo II
He was in a box for days- in my book that's probably what the staff is for. Point being, he looks extremely old in both pictures. I don't know many 20 year olds with white beards and a complete bald spot, do you?
aside from what can cause the transformation from diablo I to diablo II, i didnt say anything about him being 20, i gave a reasonable guess at 50 years old, many people have hairloss by mid-age, and aside from him being dubbed "Cain the Elder", in the Filipino culture of mine, someone as young as 20 can be considered elder to someone younger, cain could be 35 for all you know and blizzard will dub him as elder as they see fit
the soulstones were used to contain the prime evils but izual told them that the soulstones can be used as a instrument of power, able to contain mass amounts of energy at once so the prime evils plan was to purposely get captured and use it to contain their true power, but staying in the mortal realm weakened them and they had to constantly feed on human souls, baal and mephisto were too weak, diablo was the only one able to manipulate the stone in time to his needs
for adria, i would suspect that earlier when i said she was a nephalem, she had magic that not even a horadrim, mages that fought the prime evils, would know about, she obviously will play a big role for D3
adria as andariel.. well the spelling is similar lol, maybe, they need a human host to surpress their powers otherwise they gradually lose it in the mortal world
I was wondering about her too... I'd like to see her return (or her undead corpse - either way is just as good).

What is normal? Normal is a concept that everyone or a majority of people are the same or similar. However, we know that everyone is unique. If everyone is unique, then everyone is different. If everyone is different, then everyone is weird. If everyone is weird, then everyone is normal.
Sorry, where I live 50 is basically middle age now, and no one under 60 looks old.
This is meidval times though. People today can look young but peopel back then dont got much to keep them lookin young

I wanna see Adria in DIII just as much as the rest of y'all. And I kind of like the "Leah is the daughter of Wanderer+Adria" theory. (Jesus, I almost said "son"!)

it's from Blizzcon, confirmed..

I'm trying to look for a photo of it now, but its hard to find. I remember seeing a photo of that Adria concept art on the wall at Blizzcon. If you trust me enough, my verbal confirmation is here. Otherwise, let me find that darn photo...
I would LOVE if Adria was a powerful demon or angel in disguise, ala 'Lylia' from the sin wars books
Hell- it would be sweet if Lilith actually returned from her exile decades ago (thanks to Mendeln 'finding' her in the void) and was secretly masterminding the return of the next generation of edyrem (with Inarius out of the way..)
Demon or angel, it would be very cool if she was secretly pulling the strings in key locations like Tristram
I never thought that she was that young in D1, since the artwork of her for D3 (set 20 years after) depicts her as a woman in her best age (35-40?)!
Adria was/is a powerful witch, she probably has some form of youth regenerating magic. I wonder what that pendant was she had in her hand in the concept art- it looked like a necklace with something similar to Diablo's head's shape.
they have clearly stated numerous times that the barb in d3 is the same barb from d2.
Well, he doesn't have that Blue tattoo on his face, but maybe that was just warpaint?

Watching 240 guys talk trash about cavaliers is like two retards having a slapfight over a sippy cup.

I guess it was paint because it'd been confirmed many times now that it's the same barbarian.
i have a feeling Adria isnt who she is representing to be.. i think she is Lillith, we know that Lillith diguised herself before in the books ( lore experts help me a bit)
I have a feeling there is something funny about her too.
Do you see that necklace she has on, it looks pretty demonic to me. Maybe I'm just paranoid though.

There is an image of a cool octopus type demon.
