So far we pretty much know Diablo will come back in the form of a female.
I think, the famale legs are from Andariel, not Leah. And Andariel has six hands as the deamon on banner. Andariel now one of the Prime Evels (http://www.diablowiki.com/Andariel), and she was defeated together whis others.
I personally think people are putting too much worth into specific words used. "Our brethren" is a pretty ambiguous phrase, and in no way does it mean he's speaking directly to someone involved with his "brethren". When I say "our people" I could be referring to Canadians, white people, males, people of certain descent etc since all those possibilities encompass myself, but you'd never know because I gave you no context to make an assertion from. With completely ambiguous context behind the phrase, it could mean anything. But I guess that's part of the fun
As for speculating about Leah and Diablo. I don't know how or why, but I feel Diablo is going to take on more of a protagonist role in D3. That doesn't mean we won't encounter and fight him, but considering we apparently travel to the High Heavens, it seems like there's a large shift in power and/or control going on, and Leah may or may not have an influence or control over him due to being who she is, and what she's learned from studying Cains work. It may just be Diablo that destroys Azmodan, as an example.
Have anyone else noticed the shoulder"pads" on Diablo's form in the new wallpaper gallery from blizzcon?
To me, the pads look just like the head of Azmodan. They're so similar, that Diablo's true form must have a connection to Azmodan's power - by defeating him, or a feature to the Black Soulstone pherhaps. Check it out!
In ancient times, demons can posses any human being regardless of their sex. If Diablo is a demon then of course the moral of what I'm about to say is that yes, Diablo can take control of Leah's body. But if Blizzard decides that Diablo is not a demon then the other option is that he is a (and again this is from ancient times) fallen angel. Angels themselves can either guide you or posses you. Over all, if Blizzard decides to surprise us of Leah being possessed by Diablo, I'm waiting to see what she'll become. If not then consider Leah as Joan of Arc and help banish Diablo to the netherworld.
EDIT: Do you know why I don't have permission to see the first images?
Sonofthe storm has a code that forbidd you to link to pics, it takes away to much serverpower from them if everybody link to their stuff.
To watch the pictures.. Just rightclick on them and choose "copy picturewebadress" or something similar, and phase it into a new websitewindow.
Or put the links, not the pictures in normal order..

Anyone notice the NPC dialog about Leah in Beta Act 1? "Leah was besides the black smith's wife all night attending the wounded". The black smith's wife and all the wounded turn into zombies and Leah is just fine? Or do you have to become wounded to turn into a zombie? Probably reading into this too much.
Notice Diablo's shoulderpads on the wow/d3/SC2 picture with diablo in the middle - from blizzcon. The shoulderpads looks just like Azmodan's head!
I forget where, but one of the monster bio's said that an 'unknown' evil force was creating the monsters in Sanctuary. Maybe SuperLeafz has a point and Azmodan, not Diablo (who is dead after the destruction of the soulstone as far as I know), changes Leah/Adria's body into the demon we see, and then SHE becomes the new Lord of Terror, but under Azmodan's control (like a fiery, terrible pet!).
This would kind of make sense from an expansion point of view. You kill the Leah/Diablo hybrid monstrosity, and then in the expansion you get a chance to kill Azmodan himself.
Thoughts?
