Okay fess up. Give away your money making secrets and share them with the world.
The fastest way my group makes money is by either collecting low level items normally used for cooking such as small eggs and selling them in the AH. The typically fetch more than 1G per stack and you can get several stacks in a short amount of time. The second way I make money is by taking my highest level which is a lowely 47 and going into the lower level instances lvl 20-30 and soloing them to sell the bop to vendors and to AH a few of the nice items it drops, typically 10-30g/hr.

Grind, instances/dungeons/raids, sell gear, professions (mine silver ore in Duskwood, its like 6g for 6 silver ores, or at least when I played, and you get like 3 or 4 ores in one mine)

sometimes beginnings aren't so simple, sometimes goodbye's the only way."
Bought an epic for 30g once, resold for a couple hundred
Bought a couple twink level 29 clothies robe for cheap, resold 75g each.
Bought ''Boots of the linx'' for 3 silver :D:D: - I got really lucky, I resold for 100g
EASY Enchanter money! Do SM Armory, at 70 you can run past it all without gaining aggro, I get the blue, shard it, sell for 6-7 gold, each run takes about 5-7 minutes
And there is a way to scam people at the AH, which i will not say but it gets you a ton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! of gold, I dont do it, but it has almost worked on me lol
Best thing that ever worked for me was to grab every shit item you got along the way to 70 and either sell on the AH if it was good or vendor it if it sucked (even grey trash). That way I got 3200g by lvl 70. After that, it was pretty much AH'ing everything I found, Primals and Herbs mostly, but also the occasional rare. And I got to 4800g before I quit :D. I would've gotten more, but sometimes I couldn't bother to farm the Primals needed for Frozen Shadoweave, so I lost pretty much there.

I take it you mean putting up a lot of items like netherweave, giving most of them a regular price, but making one hugely overpriced, in the hopes that someone will buy all of them assuming they're the same price?
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
That would be a dirty trick wouldn't it. Another thing that putting that overly large price up will do it throw off auction mods so that the avg price stated by the MOD is higher than the actual average price.
I don't know enough about the items to know if they are worth buying to resell that is what my roommate does. But he normally sticks with very cheap items.

I see. I did something like that at one time with ore/bars. My mithril gathering ground is no longer though. They moved all my nodes lol I have to find another farming spot.
