posted a message on Official WOW Help Thread.
I see the thread was last commented on in July but I am curious. How many of you are playing on destromath? I have a horde guild on The Scryers, and I have a horde alt on Dalvengyr, as well as Alliance alts on Frostwolf. I would like top play with more people and the guild on the Scryers has openings. Anyone that is interested just let me know.

Level doesn't matter. If you are in contested territory any player of the opposing faction can and most likely will attack you. If you are in enemy territory you are vulnerable to attack but cannot attack them unless they are flagged by either attacking you, just coming from contested territory, or have their PVP flag turned on at all times. Dueling only works with someone of the same faction.

Then I am a bit outdated in my information. The way the PvP servers used to work is that you did not automatically flag until you were above level 9. No matter where you were. Also you were able to click "duel" on opposing factions drop down menu from their character icon.

posted a message on Who here likes vampires?
I have always loved the idea of vampires. There are some stupid theories/myths out there that much is true.

Someone commented about the "I vont to ....." This is because the person is trying to mimic a Romainian accent. The Transylvania theories come into play with this thought on vampires. Of course those stem from the belief that Vlad Dracule was or turned into a vampire. Thus came Count Dracula.

The music from Queen of the Damned was awesome. It can also be found on the sound tract. Though, some of the lyrics are slightly different than the ones used in the movie. For those that don't know Queen of the Damned is a part of the Vampire Cronicles written by Anne Rice. Interview with a vampire is also part of the series.

The "curse" of vampirism is the lonliness. Yes they are to live forever, however they are to do this mostly alone. They have to hide themselves from the race of people that they used to belong to. Everything that they enjoyed in their life is left behind. They will be able to watch anyone they have feelings for wither away and die.

There are many different beliefs on vampires, the thing that is the most interesting to me is that the belief in vampires arose simultaneously around the world. Even in places isolated from outside contact began to believe in vampires at the same time. The thought is that the belief in vampirism did not have time to travel from location to location. It simply sprang up all over the world all by itself. A sign that vampires are real maybe?

posted a message on Diablo 3 graphics are lacking!!!
Companies that focus strictly on making their product for the wealthy individuals will 9 times out of 10 fail. A majority of the people that will be playing this game are not able to afford a $2500.00 computer. You can think that it is an unfair way of life but you have to consider something.

Video games are like books and movies. They have a target audience. The target audience for Diablo III is probably unable to afford those extremely expensive computers. On top of all of that I think the graphics look pretty good.

At the same time I agree with you. I don't think corpses should disappear and I also think we have moved into an era where graphic quality is extremely important. I don't even play video games that have horrid graphics, WoW excluded. WoW got special treatment because my friends play the game and it is a place to socialize and continue playing an entertaining game.

posted a message on The Enemies
Everyone is worried about what classes they are going to be able to play. My question is what Bosses will be returning. I think it is obvious that Diablo is coming back, but will we see any of the other Bosses return, will it be all new bosses, or will there be a combination thereof.

If you pick returning bosses tell us who and if you pick new ones who do you think they will be?

posted a message on Single or Multi player?
I will start with both. I will play on b.net and single player. The single player will allow me to get to know the game and eventually I will get a mod/trainer for single player to learn things about the game faster after I have experienced the story. On b.net I will get to know the community and begin to aquire friends as the game expands. It is always fun to be part of those people that are the veterens of the game. For example, on WoW my character is one of the few that is part of the old Honor System, thus he has a rank above his head. No matter how good you are at PvP you will never display a rank if your character was created after the honor system changed.

If you were not part of that initial phase of the game, then you would have missed out on a small tidbit like that.

Had a level 26 character in the Barrens, and was running around in Stone Talon Mountains, Thousand Needles, Ashenvale and didn't get attacked.

On a PvP server you automatically flag PvP when you enter into a contested territory once you have reached a certain level. As far as accepting a duel that would simply be you clicked the wrong button or were intent on dueling that person.

posted a message on Do you really think WOW is that great?
I hate when I have to wait an hour to figure out what game I am going to play. Oh wait, I don't have that problem. WoW is currently the only game on my computer. I have a PS3 and only one game for it. I don't have time to play many games though so its okay not to have many.

I Like Me Lvl 37 Fire Mage!!!!

Yesterday I was able to pwn a 70 fire mage in a duel. She had more HP than me a bigger mana pool and if I had allowed her to get her fire ball off on me I would have been toast, no pun intended.

The World of Warcraft has been a replacement for a great many of us. I think that most of the WoW players played Diablo II for a very long time. Eventually it was just a new game from the same creators. We show support to blizzard by playing it and we use it to be entertained with some newer content while waiting on the beloved Diablo III to be announced initially. Now that it has been announced we simply continue playing it until D3 is released. Of course, friends have been amassed on WoW and things of that nature. Hopefully I will be able to drag my friends off of WoW when D3 is released because I will no longer have a reason to play WoW after that.

I enjoy the Shaman. They are easy to solo with at low levels and if they are specced right and you have learned how to play it by soloing/instancing then you become a hard hitting High DPS mean thing. In PvP casters hate us, tanks don't like us either. Hunters love to sick their pet on us. As far as end game. Shaman with enhancement spec can be tough. The AoE spells of end game bosses hit hard and an enhancement shaman is a melee character so they end up respeccing Restoration or Elemental from what I have been told. My shaman is only level 69.

Personally I just think it's neat that the site had recognition from blizzard. I also like the new scheme.

    posted a message on Hell?
Well Heaven is supposed to be a place that is warm and loving. A place that you never feel the need for any thing because you have everything you could ever want. Of course the everything you could ever want is supposed to be the direct love of God if you go by the Christian faith but none the less that is the depiction of heaven for me.

I feel that Hell would be the exact opposite of that. A dark and cold place where you feel the need for everything you had and wanted in life and no longer have or never got. All of the basics of life taken way. No one to love or care for, nothing to aspire to just an emptiness within your own mind in a frozen wasteland.
