Okay, since everyone seems to be bucking for some sort of action regarding who reports to who, etc. I decided to go ahead and do some organizing. What I've done is determine a list of Pilus Priors, their assigned Decurion(s), and those Decurions' assigned Legionaires. I have also listed the duties of each rank at the bottom of this message. Before you read, I want to stress two things...
1) THIS IS NOT OFFICIAL. I have not discussed this with the council, and as a result, may be subject to change.
2) This is in no way locked in. If you wish to switch between command groups, that is acceptable with me, although you will need to find someone of equal rank to switch with. (EG: If you are a Legionaire and are not content with your Decurion superior, you may switch to another Decurion, as long as one of their Legionaires is willing to switch with you).
Legionaire's responsibilities...
1) Maintaining his/her own activity
2) Encouraging activity amongst his/her fellow Legionaires
3) Following the orders of his/her's superiors
4) Aiding his/her fellow guild members whenever possible
5) Promoting the guild
Decurion's responsibilities...
1) Maintaining acitivity amongst his/her assigned Legionaires
2) Relaying orders to his/her assigned Legionaires from Pilus Prior
3) Solving conflicts between his/her assigned Legionaires
4) Meeting with fellow Decurions to solve problems between eachother's Legionaires**
**If there is any conflict between Legionaires under different Decurions, those two Decurions must meet and devise a way to defuse the problem. If one is unresponsive, the remaining Decurion has the right to step in alone. They must report this case to a Pilus Prior, who will determine if they have acted with impartial judgement.
- More duties may be assigned if suggested / thought of later
Pilus Prior's responsibilities...
1) Maintaining activity of his/her assigned Decurion(s)**
2) Working with other Pilus Priors to solve conflicts between eachother's Decurions
3) Assuring his/her assigned Decurion(s) acts with fair judgement / leadership
4) Reporting acitivty levels of his/her Decurions and Legionaires to his/her commanding Centurion
5) Relaying orders from his/her commanding Centurion to his/her Decurion(s)
**If a Decurion is absent, their commanding Pilus Prior may step in and take on their responsibilities.
- More duties may be assigned if suggested / thought of later
Centurion's responsibilities...
1) Maintaining activity in assigned Pilus Priors, Decurions, and Legionaires**
2) Resolving conflicts between Pilus Priors
3) Relaying orders to assigned Pilus Priors from the Council
**If neither a Decurion or Pilus Prior is acting on their responsibilities, a Centurion has the right to step in and take command or to remove that Decurion / Prior temporarily for review by the Council.
- More duties may be assigned if suggested / thought of later

good job. that whole list just reminded me of an army. and each section would be a different part of the army. (trying to think of army divisions but cant, you know what i am trying to say. i hope)
(trying to think of army divisions but cant, you know what i am trying to say. i hope)
0300: Infantry
1800: Engineering (they go in front and sweep for mines)
4212: Basic Military Journalism
I forget the rest.
Or were you thinking more along the lines of Private, Lieutenant, Colonel, because if you were you only need to look at the bracketed title in the rank thread.

well sorta. oh hey just remembered how it goes. like 7th caverlry of new york. 215th inventry of california. etc. etc. thats what i was thinking. but it sorta the same as yours.:D
The division you are thinking of were roughly how sub guild used to work.
101st Air Borne, 87th Infantry etc. And each of these were divided into companies.
"We are D company with the 101st Air Borne."
That is how it is theoried the Decurio work. (A decurio is 10 men)

but now its just one big group. so like instead of having like marines, army, navy, us airforce. (which wouldve resembled slayers, assassins, etc.) it now seems like one type of group. an army. so you would have different divisions of an army. caverlrly, inventry etc.
The basic format hasn't changed too much. Airforce, Navy, Marines, and Army are too seperater groups, we were more like just one of them say the Army, and in that you had the "Tank" division, the "Sniper" division, the regular ol' "Grunt" division, the "communications" division.
We still have that (Just less of them). At least I'm gonna try push for it, or see it if it possible.
I am also trying to work on a full list of rights and roles. The above list stops at Centurion. There are several ranks that supercede the authority of a Centurion, and should be included as well.

If you have followed the SICK lore, it states were a warrior priests of sorts, much like the Knights Templar or Knights Hospitiler. One one side you have the battle hardened warrior, and on the other, the devout learned in the doctrine of his faith priest.
So if we take myself for example, the title I hold in the warrior sense is Imperator. This is the highest military rank one can achieve, much like that of Fuhrer from Fullmetal Alchemist or Commandant of the Marines. And on the Monastarial side, my rank is Prelate, or Head Prelate rather (that list is quite old it might not have the rank Prelate), I wouldn't say it quite equates to that of the Pope, but it is the highest rank you can recieve in the church. (Not Silversurfnstudism, we dumped that name years ago). Church as in a more Zakarum-esque type organization.
There are several lists around the place which show you which military rank matches up with which Monastarial rank.

I really like this idea, but my Decurion doesn't use the site as much as he games. Does this mean I talk to him about it to ensure activity? Cause I don't really get the idea yet.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
And i wont be able to check the activity of my legionaires on B.net. I hope Stormcat can see to that.
I'll be paying my full attention on forums, i say.
