Barbarian: Strong upfront powerhouse, able to tank and take the big hits. Great display of physical strength, with all the bodies flying, and I enjoy that extra detail.
Monk: Tons of flowing movement and CC capabilities make them look like fun, and their combo mechanic has a lot of fun action to it.
Wizard: Atomic nuke, floors everything. On the other hand the Wizard is diverse having the ability to go form Long range, to mid range, or even a Battle Mage close range.
Witch Doctor: You have an army of anything you can get. The only thing missing is a kitchen sink rune.
Barbarian - curiosity/completeness
Demon Hunter - curiosity/completeness
Monk - curiosity/will be tanking for the first group of people with whom I play
Witch Doctor - curiosity/awesomeness/will be soloing with this one first/make dead stuff & make dead stuff do stuff for me
Wizard - curiosity/awesomeness/my typical style/Shadow-vessel-gonna-cut-you-with-its-laser.../friking lasers!
I personally want to experience the different feeling of them all.
So:
Barbarian - smashing stuff, and demons and more stuff.
Demon Hunter - strategic gameplay with kiting and traps...and bola shot!
Monk - fast and quick moving melee.
WD - some crazy skills and pets.
Wizard - seems to be a great class for playing with a group.
Wizard - umm.. i don't know. it's my favorite class in just about every one of these type of games. Long range, versatile, quick...
Monk - i feel like a badass playing a monk (or at least did in the beta)
Demon Hunter - like wizard, versatile, quick and long-range
Witch Doctor - I want to run around with a bunch of summoned creatures
Barbarian - Won't be playing one.. but if i do, because of Whirlwind
All of the classes have some appeal to me, all but the wizard ( sorry to any wizard fans) its just not my cup of tea. On release I will be playing my monk. Once I get far enough I may start up a different character. Im more of a " one character " kind of guy but each class seems to have its own charm. So I will have to try them all in the full game at some point.
Barb: I'm a melee, Berserker type of guy, so this is a natural choice. He utterly destroys the small "competition" in this regard. Main char, no two ways about it.
Wiz: I think, after all, in D2 I've spent the most time with the Sorc, I really like raining down fire and ice on my opponents. Plus the female Wiz has such a cute personality. My favorite non-main char, probably.
WD: This one really surprised me in the beta, it was the first char, on which I tried all the skills and couldn't really decide which to use(in the beginning at least). And it's only getting better with giant frogs and other crazy stuff. Fun char #1.
DH: Every once in a while I feel like playing an archer. Will be automatically triggered by finding Windforce.
Monk: Well, if you can't say anything nice, say nothing
My #1 reason to play every class is that every new character is guarnanteed more rare drops on first time boss kills. So why not level all characters and maximize delicious loot. All characters are fun but the most enjoyable part of the game is getting loot!!!
Monk and Barbarian are my favorite classes simply due to my proclivity towards melee. I plan on rolling a Monk first because my two best friends are playing a Wizard and Barb respectively and I think that will make us a very powerful trio. Monk is also the fastest class in the game which will make it ideal for farming for my later characters. (Dashing Strike, Tempest Rush, Feet-footed Passive, etc) This class will probably end up being my main for Inferno simply due to its survivability/utility/mobility.
I'll probably roll a Barbarian second and twink the hell out of him and laugh maniacally as I tear my foes asunder.
Demon Hunter and Witch Doctor are both very fun too. I couldn't get into Wizard but I know they get off to a late start. Out of all the ranged classes, Witch Doctor is my favorite just due to their bizarre nature and reminding me of a certain character from ATHF. (Billywitchdoctor!)
I also kinda want to try funky melee builds with these classes just for fun, and having the trade skill smiths leveled will assist in getting them the proper gear for that.
#1 reason is.... why not? It's a friggen video game you try all the characters out and if the game is fun enough you master the content.... silly thread.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
Barbarian: I like to smash things
Monk: Female monk is Hot
DH: Female DH is hot (how can she run that fast in heels)
Wizard: I like to blow sh*t up.
Witch Doctor: I want to meet interesting people, and then throw spider filled pottery jars at them.

Barbarian:
Seismic Slam (you mean I can punch the ground and cause EXPLOSIONS!?)
Demon Hunter:
Chakram (at first the ability seems underwhelming, but when spammed you can fill a room with swirling blades)
Wizard:
Arcane Torrent (who doesn't want tons of arcane projectiles flying out of their fingertips?)
I haven't found a single awesome ability for Witch Doctor or Monk yet. I will still play them eventually, but these are my top 3.
