Frenzy definitely benefits from dual wielding. WW I am not sure, but we will be finding out soon. A lot of the other skills really benefit more using a 2H weapon, for pure raw power damage output.

For fury generation, a good combo is a mighty weapon+weapon master passive. You will generate +3 fury per hit, Bash+Onslaught will do 194% damage and generate +15 fury.

The ceremonial masks have to be the coolest looking class-specific item. The mighty weapons look cool too, but there is more artistry in the ceremonial masks.

posted a message on (Spoiler) Diablo III - Legendary Items
    Quote from Sydarm

You people are seriously dumb, the guide only covers NAMED LEGENDARIES

there are legendaries that have random names, and every affix is random, exactly like rares were in diablo 2

All legendary items have a fixed name, with specific fixed affixes, in D3 there will be a few random affixes added as well. But the fixed affixes stay fixed. That is the definition of legenday, ever since Diablo 1.

Just because a legenday is not on the list above, doesn't mean the legenday does not exist, just that it is not on the above list.

Rare Items have randomly generated names, with randomly generated affixes. Set and Legenday items have fixed names. There was a quest in D2 after completion would actually add you name to the item name. EX: BarbHarvey's Immortal Soul Crusher. Not sure if this can be done in D3.

posted a message on Skills build: what can we agree/have a consensus with at this point?
There are a lot of different build types and styles for the WD.

    Here are some general styles:
Pet Summoner: Incorporates pet followers into gameplay, uses runes and passives to strengthen pets. Very common build.
Sacrifice: Uses sacrfice as a primary spell, uses runes and passive to spawn more dogs.
Spirit Caster: build centers around Spirit realm skills, like soul harvest, haunt, spirit barrage, mass confusion, etc.. Passives center on mana regeneration.
Caster Build: A build that does not incorporate pet followers. Very common build.
Vison Quest Build: Centered around the passive vision quest for mana regeneration.
Co-op Build: Uses skills to benefit the group, not just the WD.

Didn't they say Rare > Unique? Which I thought it was retarded but still, wasn't that they idea?
If so at 60 with BiS you are wearing 0 legendaries?

It is possible to get a rare better than a legendary item. But with a rare you have 6 random affixes. You might roll a rare will 6 awesome affixes, but then again you can find a rare with 3 good affixes and 3 really crappy ones.

With a legendary (and set items), there are attributes that are fixed 3-4 affixes with maybe one or two random affixes.

Both of the skills are kinda meh. There are primary's i like much better, and there are other, more dependable skills than hex that I would prefer to use.

I loved collecting set and legendary items in D2, and look forward to trying to find one of every set and legendary in D3. Even if they are not as useful to the current character I would be playing. There are other 9 other chars to level.

And if you have 10 level 60s, you might want to reroll one. (might not like the name, gender, etc,) And start from the beginning. You have the gear for it now.

Planning ahead for your other characters. Is a smart thing to do.

posted a message on Spirit Walk Useless?
There is a downside, if your physical body takes more than 50% of it's maximum health as damage, you will be yanked back to the physical realm. In Inferno that might mean 1-3 hits. If you are low on health, start the spirit walk, you might not get .5 seconds before you are dragged back. In lower difficulties it might work, but I am a bit doubtful on its effectiveness.

posted a message on Thorns in end game
From what I saw on the datamines, thorns will be a fixed #, not a %. I mean a 19000% damage reflected back is a bit much. Personally, I hope it is, but I doubt it. I will be putting together a suit of thorns for a Fierce Loyalty pet build (its only 17 slots in stash), and possibly for PVP against Barbs and Monks.
