What's up diablofans forum, I'm looking for dedicated team members for the diablo 3 launch.
The goal?
:
-To obtain the worlds first level 60
Member Requirements
:
-Diablo 2 experience~
-5 days of completely free time, starting from launch date
(Note: We do not know how long this could take most expect 1 to 3 days)
-The will to play late into the nigh and follow a spontaneous sleep schedule
-Play Demon Hunter/Barb/Monk and follow a predefined strategy to level as fast as possible.
Bonuses?
:
-Having a second person to play your account while you sleep would be a huge bonus, although, this is not required.
-Having friends with their own account willing to help with side "goals" is also a bonus.
If desired rushing Inferno completion could also be added to the objectives.
If you would like to contact me for further details etc please message me on skype. I will be checking this thread and PMS, but a skype message is highly prefered.
Please leave a little message if you add me on skype
"DF WF60" will do the trick
Maybe not. It is possible that dedicated hardcore strangers would fare better than "supposedly hardcore" friends.
I've got about 10 friends who call themselves hardcore diablo fans, and yet they know very little about the game, didn't know when the beta went live, didn't follow blizzcon videos, and probably won't play past Normal/Nightmare. There are only 2 I'm positive will play D3 hardcore, the others I'm not so sure.
I'm sure if I signed in to help you in your task, I'd be a very dedicated and capable teammate, but alas I can't. I really want to enjoy those early moments with some buddies.

Good luck with it, anyways.
I couldn't agree with you more.
The level of knowledge and skill isn't even of huge importance here. The most important thing here is getter players willing to "No life" for a couple days. Everything else will come down to my strategy.

We are talking about WORLD first though
You gotta know how strong the people are, even if they are not really your "friends" you got to know them very well and be assured of their ultimate dedication and skill. Never gonna happen this way.
Also sleeping schedule won't work believe me. You have to be able to stay awake for 2-3 days in row, also I am from EU (if you are from EU too then I am interested).
Sorry about that, it's US. The problem with this sleep vs no sleep is that we have no clue how long it will take to hit 60. My current plans are to play for ~2 days and make a decision based on a rough estimate of how much time will be left.
you wont have to sleep imho .
how long will it take to clear a difficulty with a good team? My guess would be couple of hours.
so you could already have cleared hell on the first day.
after you've cleared hell you're what? lvl 40+ ?
maybe 50+ after a few runs.
i'm guessing it will take less than 48 hours for someone to hit 60.
maybe you can even do it in a day (24 hours).

They've said you'll be somewhere between 57-60 at the end of Hell :3.

Sounds like my friend, hardcore Diablo fan, and he is but he has absolutely no clue about anything Diablo 3 related. He constantly messages me with "breaking info" that I heard about like a year ago haha. Of course when it comes out though he won't leave his room for at least a week.
And argll:
Yea we do not know the difficulty of Hell yet, but their game mechanics don't make for a scenario where it couldn't be beaten in a day. With proper gear from drops on way to hell and a good team it is very reasonable to beat it in a day, especially when you know what to expect since you already beat normal and nightmare. Diablo's style is pretty hard to make difficult to where you can't proceed, and Blizzard is making sure of that too.
Quick question: I plan on staying up for 72 hours on launch. I will be using snacks that are not greasy, and if they are, they can be microwaved in 3-4 minute intervals. I will also be consuming Fruit Energy Drinks (fruit blends with energy supplements)
My question is:
Will you be going slow for normal mode - then skipping everything for NM/Hell
Or will you just run through the game as quickly as possible? I don't care much for listening to people talk - but I do care about cutscenes

Skipping all talking/cutscenes, I myself will just listen to everything on my second character.

edit: I'm speaking class-wise - not requirement wise.

Haven't set in stone anyone, have plenty of time to look for more.
I suppose I have no problem openly saying this in the thread.... I fully plan on having every member playing witch doctor (different skills/runes).

Well then....Good luck xD.
I think doing all Witch Doctors is foolish. Especially if you want to do something meaningful like WF Inferno.
4x int gear. Means you couldn't give your int gear to the other players to help boost your progress speed.
1 Str Hero
1 Dex Hero
1 Int Hero
Pick an over-lapping one.
Personally I'd do Demon Hunter/Barb/Monk/Witch Doctor.
None of your weapons or armor would go to waste. You could trade them and maximize efficiency...but hey...that's just me.
