Dude I played D2 for a long time...What I meant here that you complete the game very fast on each of the difficulties so the flow is very fast as it is next time read him/her and my reply first before assuming stuff, I said nothing about grinding for uber items. D3 team want it faster on behalf of other aspects of the game like Radios light and dark scary background, It has now health orbs what it need faster gameplay than this for, Isn't it enough?
keep the scary theme for ppl who are fan of this style like myself.
I want Diablo not Titan Quest.
Oh my bad, I took it as, once you beat the game, you moved on to another game.
Yea, it was pretty fast, however 2 things.
#1: That's just the demo of D3, and only the dumbest developers in the industry would show a demo that is super dark(half the things, people wouldn't beable to see in a demo video).
#2: With all truethfulness, D2 was probally too dark in some areas(so dark infact, even with light radius, it was barely illuminated), so they are probally gonna sway slightly away from that at very least.
PS. Aside from the basic flow of the game, I wouldn't take the demo at face value(that the entire game will be like that, definately not face value about something minor, like lighting, since that would be like the last thing to worry about before the game is released).
I think WOW players can't criticize unless they had played Diablo. I had played WOW only for a year but I think Diablo is not about how it looks, its about how the gameplay is and how fun it is. We Diablo players should know that its not about the environment, mostly it is about the gameplay.
I think you failed to understand my point.. I come from Wow, but what I am saying is that diablo 3 looks too much like WoW and i would not enjoy playing it at the current state... So in other words im for the darker , less neon green flood light looks.
I bet you've really played Diablo, and just want to pretend to be a Wow-only player because you think we'll take your opinion more seriously, or to give more weight to your whole "this looks too much like wow.. I dont like it"

What's up with it why does the armor look so Big.Please give me a reason why it looks like that
ever in some of the developer said that. They were caught up in the WOW kind of art desgin
with starcraft 2 and had to rethink that. Bet the armor just bug's the-- LIVENING HELL OUT OF ME-- pre-apha or not it's just weird to see that big of a armor or my .I say it sames off a little bit or out of place in the diablo universe armor style and look wise...to the Barbarian girl and male armor looks.Yea there big people bet they? most have huge armor shoulder pads no... i no blizzard will work on it bet how will it look in the end.
Would you play it with how the armor look now?
OR
Would you play it with a kind of realistic look and feel?
OR
Would you like the old look of the armor in D2?
If it stays this way or ever in close to what it looks like now.
THEN I AM GOING NAKED IN THE GAME no pants no shirt no diablo 3 armor
I doubt it. You'll wear the armor because you won't want to fall behind the curve. You might try early into the game, but by the second act you'll give in. You are more likely to begrudgingly play your way through the first act, find out you actually enjoy the game despite the graphics, and get hooked on the game like the rest of us.

i have no probably. With the graphic anymore because .I no that blizzard will fix that bet it just how the armor look it bug's the hell out of me .Yea the concept art looks great bet its concept art and it will not look the same in the case of the how diablo 3 looks like now in (pre-alpha) it overly huge pad's and unreal placement of the armor makes no sense at all . That what diablo 2 did (SOMETIMES) in placement of the armor bet diablo can improve on that.
The new graphical style of Diablo does borrow a lot from Warcraft.
But I can say four things after being a Diablo fan since the release day of the first game, to playing WoW for 2 years, to now.
1. Diablo's game play is not something you should compare to WoW, they are not the same in anyway. WoW's combat is slow, Diablo's is fast, and involved fighting generally more than 10 creatures at once. Where as WoW you generally go for 1-3 unless your grouped.
2. The new visual style of Diablo is fine, if it wasn't changed, everyone would still buy the game, an love it just the same. That being said, it is a new style, and does not follow the traditional style of Diablo, which is why most people want it changed.
3. If you have never played Diablo 2, go Back to WoW. Furthermore, if you've never played Diablo 1, your opinion is invalid as well.
4. When Diablo 2 came out, people complained even then that the game wasn't "dark/gothic" enough, because you spend much more time outside. The first Diablo was extremely dark and gothic, and many of the things depicted in the game were very disturbing. This ranged from the first thoughts of a new player seeing the Butcher's room for the first time, mangled bodies hanging from giant hooks hung from walls, or people impaled on spikes still twitching. From the gothic styled cathedral, to the walls of blood and bone of Hell.....its things like these that players want to see returned imo.

Oh come on, it will be easy to make a mod that will not render the armor while wearing it for protection. But the character will be naked. And there will be a lot of nude mods.
