look at these armors!are they realistic???:confused:do not tell me that all the armors will gonna be like that..
The armors in D2 weren't very realistic either is my point. D2 had its own style and was not very realistic. D3 has its own style and no the armor is not realistic, but it doesn't need to be. I like the D3 armor more than the D2 armor. the concept sketches for the D3 barbarian are just amazing.
The only mildly realistic armor in D2 was what you saw in your inventory screen, but it never looked that realistic on your character.
The concepts sketches shown before looked awesome in my opinion, even if they are not realistic. But in game, it looked kind of stupid, especially for that female barb. Who's going to be wearing an armor that doesn't protect the vital areas of your body? She had no armor whatsoever covering her chest, maybe just so horny players can stare at it, but it really is very lame.
Diablo 2 had unrealistic armors but there werre also some realistic ones in a bigger proportion.
yes,its not a sim,but do you know what it the most important features diablo have?and do you know why so many fans are still play diablo2 and over and over and over again?
if diablo1,2 do not have this its would be a mediocrity game which i will soon tired off....

Stuff like Dusk Shroud etc for Sorc left her midriff bare...now thats not protecting oneself well at all.
Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 WEREN'T REALISTIC, no matter what people may believe otherwise.
Well, I can understand that for a sorceress, she's not supposed to be getting into face to face combat anyway, but that a was a barbarian. I wouldn't have a problem with some armors looking like that, I just wouldn't like ALL of them to be like that

some of armors in D2 are realy exists in real world..because the previous dev team created it according to these real....and the most, this is the style of diablo series as you said..all the things about that demo just commmplately looks like WoW at first glance....

The question you need to ask yourself, did Diablo always have realistic graphics?, does it need realistic graphics?, am I just bothering everyone not because the answer on the last two questions was yes, but only because I want realistic armours...?
We said artistic style....

So 4000 hours of WoW has given you the insight of comparing two games to each other, while other people who use screenshots and movies to make the comparison cannot...?
I'd say so, because someone who's played that much could basically memorize the entire game and compare every aspect of every place in the world to what they might see in Diablo 3. Whereas people looking at screenshots, only get that one comparison of the screenshot. Speaking of which, a lot of the dungeons in WoW use Green/Blue to create a "dark" atmosphere.. I see Diablo following that fantastic idea as well!
Except with all the spikes, huge pauldrons and other exaggerated aspects of the armour they were totally unrealistic and if ever created in real life would be unusable as actual armour. They would need to be too thin to stop a blow or they'd be too heavy to move in.
yee,but this is the diablo1,2 style but not those please....

I don't think anyone said anything about realistic armor.. Just armor that doesn't give you the nickname skittles...or make you look like a hunchback. Also exposed chest and top of cleavage can't be very safe to have exposed in battle,, fem barbs should have armor that covers that up. From what i have seen in wow, the various caves where bears reside (the really small ones) have the exact same coloring as the dungeon.... We are not asking for Realism, that's what life is for... We are just asking for Diablo 3's own distinct style. Also about the bump mapping, im pretty sure that will get implemented in further builds, or else it will look like the wow textures (blurriness)
Are you crazy, I tried WoW to shut my friend up, when I say WoW sucks, and aside from the char being 3D, it looks nothing like WoW, not even remotely close, nor is any of the gameplay like WoW.
If anything, it looks a lot like Diablo 2, just a bit upgraded, and added twists(like interactive surroundings).
PS. Also just for argumental sake, btw WoW got the whole char 3D design concepts from Diablo 2, so no, it looks/plays nothing loke WoW.

Oh Believe me, I totally wish I CAN Relax, but I am afraid it's the truth though, D3 is obviously very influenced by WOW!
