- Town Portal Book:
I agree, it should maybe a mana cost, but on top of that, the portal has to open as fast as it does in d2, so many games are ruined for annoying shit like waiting for a tp to open
- Identifying Items:
Somewhat agree, the point is to have more things to keep you occupied, no game should be too easy and straight foreward, with your idea, whats the point of having the items to be identified in the first place if you just have to click a skill, in d2 the aim was to create a system that would cost you money each time to identify
I kinda like the fact that you have to identify it and restock, its not too annoying
- Bigger > endless stash:
Diablo 2 stash was too small for a game based on questing, and collecting cool items. The least they could do is make it a lot bigger.---Agreed
- Individual Transfering:
They should give you an option to click a "Transfering" checkbox when creating a game. It would allow the player to immediately transfer items in-between characters, and would allow only that cd-key to access the particular "Transfering" game. If a player wanted to transfer with a friend, give freind items, and so on; he could still do so by creating a normal password game..
-------nah, leave it like it is, but impliment an auction house system that can be accessed while in a channel
- Mercenaries:
If merc's are still in, I would really like it if they made them fully equipable (ie. Amulet, ring, gloves, boots, armor, helm...)..-----agreed
- Mercenarie Items:
If there indeed are Merc's, I would like it if they made certain loot that falls out "mercenarie loot". The player wouldn't be able to equip this loot himself, only use it on his Merc. This would introduce a whole other element to the game. Imagine having to look for, or trading for godly Mercenarie loot...
----I like this idea
- Runes, Rune words:
High runes shouldn't be so difficult to find, not easy either. Find a happy medium. This would encourage people to look for their runes, and not dupe, purchase duped runes.. Plus, runes should play an even bigger role in Diablo 3. More runewords would be a nice addition.
-agreed
- Gambling for Items:
Would be nice if you could gamble for unique items, but the odds of actually getting one should be astronomical.
As long as the currency system is implimented well, agreed
Think about it, sex in Diablo III would increase its sales tenfold. You could even have a Playboy Mansion secret dungeon. And add a sodomize feature to harrass the noobs with. The possibilities are endless, this is what D3 needs to make it the BEST GAME EVAR.
While i think of it here's something else. After watching the gameplay video i noticed that the items in the inventory is no longer a big image who shows the weapon completely but just a tiny square. I would like the items to appear bigger in the inventory so i can see and appreciate the artwork, especialy the ones of the unique gear.
hopefully it shows a larger version when you mouse over it or something... i'd gladly take more room in my inventory over cool art
As a long time diablo player, i have always hated mules, and having to transfer items from character to character. In most MMO's they have a mailing system, but that would definetly not fit for diablo.
So, i was thinking, while watching UFC of course... Why not have Account Stashes instead of character stashes?
1) it gets rid of the hassle of X-ferring and mules completly
2) It is easy to use, and just as easy to implement
Your idea sounds very similar to what was implemented in the Titan Quest expansion and worked very well. They say they are working on a new system. We'll have to wait and see.
Why not in D3 Unique's, Set items, Runes, and Gems have a fixed amount? Like lets say in D2 there are 25,000 Shael Runes or there are 10,000 Raven frosts? You get the picture. Wouldn't that make finding a super rare that much better?
I say this because when ever you play D2 you see the same characters wear the same stuff. Every Hammerdin wears the same gear and its so boring. I think with a syestem like this it makes finding rare loot that much better.

I approve.

What do you guys think?

Fuck you, I'm a dragon.
Remind me which mod that was. Is that the one that had a huge, multipage stash that was shared among your characters?

http://www.petitiononline.com/LANSC2/petition.html
why.
it might just be abused to hold stuff.
im just trying to keep it fair
http://www.petitiononline.com/LANSC2/petition.html
Wtf does that have to do with anything? It has nothing to do with fairness...
1) Makes gameplay less of a hassle.
2) Makes more room on blizzards servers (bank less than three characters with stats, gear, etc.)
I say this because when ever you play D2 you see the same characters wear the same stuff. Every Hammerdin wears the same gear and its so boring. I think with a syestem like this it makes finding rare loot that much better.

and seeing chars use the same stuff... well i agree it gets a bit tiresome but its part of the game and it shows your class level imo
