Jan 8, 2009Zeyphon posted a message on Official Diablo 3 Site Media Update #4Screen shots are more of the same but still appreciated. The artwork on the other hand is awesome, makes me want to jump into that world. The blood spatters are really cool too, it would be awesome if they had a system where you see cuts and dents on armour depending on your health level.Posted in: News

Dec 12, 2008Zeyphon posted a message on How is death handled in Diablo 3?Posted in: NewsQuote from "RedRocks" »Sorry, this is a bit of topic but when Makenshi compared the checkpoint system in the BlizzCon Demo to Titan Quest I remembered that I wondered how the damage dealt by a weapon/spell was displayed in Diablo 3. In Diablo II you had to be a brainiac if you wanted to know which weapon dealt most damage (with different attack speeds or castrate ...). Didn't Titans quest have a very nice system displaying average dmg/s ? It made gaming a lot easier. Does anyone know if average dmg/s will be displayed in D3?
It will be according to the weapons stats shown in the demo. -
Nov 12, 2008Zeyphon posted a message on The Diablo 3 Rainbow T-Shirt SurveyI'd buy and throw it on in an instant, to which all my friends would reply: "Why are you wearing that gay ass shirt?". But it wouldn't matter because the shirt is in fact bad ass.Posted in: News

Oct 29, 2008Zeyphon posted a message on Echoes of War - The Blizzard Music CompilationThe legendary edition is obviously targeted towards die hard Blizzard fans, they know they will buy it pretty much regardless of the price which is why its Limited Edition. They created the standard edition for casual Blizzard gamers which enjoy their music and the like, at any rate the Legendary Edition isn't mandatory so I'm just gonna pick the Standard Edition when it becomes available at the local HMV.Posted in: News

Sep 27, 2008Zeyphon posted a message on No Spellbooks in Diablo 3I doubt anyone was expecting them in the first place, and to be honest they aren't the best skill system created. So I say bring on the skill trees (if they are still in).Posted in: News

Sep 17, 2008Zeyphon posted a message on Able Gamers Interviews Blizzard, Leaves Us PuzzledPosted in: NewsQuote from "Djinn_690" »I think I know what they did! They tape recorded the interview and where too lazy to type it all up, so they probably just played it back and used the voice recognition thing that's available on almost all computers now instead of typing it themselves.
And they didn't even bother to edit it afterward.
Seems like logical conclusion... lazy bastards. -
Sep 13, 2008Zeyphon posted a message on Diablo 3 Won't Have Locked ChestsSounds good, I like the fact that they are trying to make exploring and clearing out areas more enticing. Also, I found locked chests to just be more of a nuisance in Diablo II, so good, get rid of them.Posted in: News
