i could see the DH being able to summon a doppelganger not unlike the assassin
im also curious to see how runes might effect the already announced vault skill

This will garner me hate, but i'd really like to see the Demon Hunter (be it in shadow or trap) have a Forced Coercion spell, with which the player could gain control of a monster to use, thereby forcing it to kill other monsters. Only one, not so much like the Witch Doctor's ability which is short lasting and AOE based. This ability would be permanent (or at least until monster death.) I think it fits the Demon Hunter in that not only is she mercilessly killing demons, she is forcing demons to experience the same dominance they exhibit over humans. She is one sick, twisted and vengeful individual. The demon hunter is out to make demons fear her; what more to fear than being forced to kill other demons -- they tend to hold grudges.
Also, to clarify, this would be a pet based skill.
I agree. Some single demon to fight along with you would be great. I mean, in D2, the amazon had the Valkyrie, assassin had the shadow master. I would like single demon summon.

I didn't necessarily mean a summon, I meant that she literally took control over a nearby demon. I think this system would be a bit more dynamic in that you are obviously getting a level appropriate minion, because your enemies are level appropriate, and it gives greater variety in the minions that she can posses. This variety somewhat plays into the whole being prepared and assassin-like vibe that the Demon Hunter has, because if a player knows which enemies (obviously the demon hunter knows demons) are good for whatever situations, the player can utilize certain demons.
This could be translated over into PVP in that the Demon Hunter could steal away other player's (mainly the Witch Doctor) summons.

I think she should be able to enslave a demon. the demon would not be like a Pet you would have it untill it died and it should die kinda easily since you already beat it to hell enslaving it making it terrified of you. Once you leave the game I think it should go away and you cant enslave special monsters like champions or act bosses just regular monsters.

A skill that attracts demons would be nice, so you don't have to lead the demons into your traps.

It would also be cool if there was some sort of push-back ability(similar to the effect of the barbs leap in d2) or stun(like shockwave or mind blast) or a smokescreen type move.

What other shadow skills would you like to see for the Demon Hunter?

better yet say part of her shadow magic repertoire is to bind an enemy to their shadow preventing them from moving for a duration
