come on now... try reading a bit.
let me quote what elfen put in the first post:
(incase you havent figured it out, im talking about the computerised advanced Dungeons and Dragons game, Baldur's Gate 2, you will require several extra content adding modifications to the game)
Dark Alliance is totally different from this game. BG2 is a little more slow paced and there's a lot more lore and epicness. In Dark Alliance you mash buttons and drink potions constantly and are just swept along with the story, whereas in Baldur's Gate its a little more slowed down and you have to think about what you're doing a little more and you can do a lot of side quests and what not. For example, in Dark Alliance if you're a mage, you just press the Magic Missile button over and over again and then repot when you run out of mana. The battle system in BG2 is different in a sense that there's status effects, the host can pause, you need to rest to get your spells back, and there's a bit more strategerie(WTF?) involved.(However Elfen's guy destroys people and so far we just rolled through guys with little tactics and strategy. lol, his guy solo'd the 4 NPC's and me...)
In SP you control 6 people, but if you were to play with us you'd be only be controlling yourself.

lol my guy is a beast, give him a hammer and/or flail and he'll send you to which ever god you wish

Of course he is. You didn't exacly pick a sucky class
Something I've noticed though is that my battles depends extremely much on if I can use my Sorcerer (and Aerie). These new mods add random encounters in Athkatla, and I can't use my spells, because if I do I'll get jumped by some Cowled Wizards, leading to me getting pissed of a lot of times. What's worse is that my enemies can use spells to their hearts content without any such obstacles
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

aye, For i have not dropped out as mobbin/elfen has said. I simply was beating oblivion last weekend because the expansion came out this week for it. I shall be playing probably friday night and most all day saturday pacific time

random spawns in city, once you have survived a few of them you should be fine, and if you get the magic casting license in the government district, for 5000 gp you should be fine.
those encounters are a little tough at first but you'll start to dominate after a while.

I know I can buy the license for 5000 gp, but if I did I wouldn't be able to hunt them down later on. That's so much fun

I am at a total loss here Elfen. I visit Cromwell, and he can this time around create so many more items as opposed to how things normally work, but I cannot figure out which mod it is that does it. All these nice combination recipies that frees up equipment slots and bufs your characters. Which mod does that?
And, the obvious follow-up question, is there a list of all the possible items he can combine?

he still does all the old item upgrades, but as you know he know does a lot of new ones. for a list of what items you need to make all of the new weapons you can go here.

But you had to include Tactics didn't you?
So far I've had serious trouble with Bodhi and Sahuagin City, and I can honestly say that I cheated myself through the latter (Bodhi was tough, but she went down.... eventually). And the Ritual outside of Watchers Keep isn't easy either, but at least I have my trusted Wish spell to count on
